Since there seems to be a bit of expertise here as well, I may as well ask. The problem with my unit is that I believe the thermometer is broken. It goes to the top fan level of heating for any temperature set above the 18 degrees. So it is always trying to run full blast with full heat when set to 18.5 or higher, or if it is set to 18, it runs full cold full blast full time. Are the thermometers contained in this unit?

Received your PM but can't reply due to post count. Still interested in the A/C unit, but have a few questions. When you say brand new, is it actually brand new, not a reconditioned one? Incredibly sorry to bump a very old thread guys, but just need clarification on something, but cannot PM yet due to post count. I just called Hornsby Nissan (which is Sales, Parts and Service) and was told that the Nissan database is only for Australian delivered Nissans only. Never the less, we put the VIN of the R34 GT I am looking at in, and it returned no result. Blue Nissan plate looks and feels legit, and am have seen a previous REVS certificate from the current owner. Which Nissan have people reading this thread called (if they have done this check)? Has the Nissan spare parts database changed changed to a per country basis in the last couple of years?

Hey Guys, My name is Scott and I'm 19 and live in North West Sydney. I joined up so I could do some research about R34 GTs and GT-Fours, so I can buy one in the near future. Currently get around in a 2006 CH Lancer LS, with coilovers, rims, exhaust, intake, HIDs and a few other tasty mods. It a 4G69 2.4L SOHC I4, so it has got some go, and the Racing Logic coilovers, strut and sway bars and the BF Goodrich G-Force Sport tyres certainly make it handle well. It keeps up with a modified S15 Autech, so I am pretty happy... But I have always wanted an R34, and now I am in a position to get one. I'm on several other forums under the same user name. Also a mod on Mitsubishi Club Australia, so I get the whole forum thing. Don't worry, I will search before posting. Lol. Couple of pics of my current ride. And an oldie but a favourite.
