  1. It allows you to view various stats from the pre-existing sensors in your car sourced from your ECU. Check if your car has OBD1 or OBD2, because depending on which one, the combination of what you can view will be different.
  2. I've seen the ones whereby it locks the brake together with the clutch pedal......something else for them to cut..... which means more time involved, keep a wheel clamp in the car just in case,or 4....lock up all four wheels... add that to the alarm siren hooked up to your airhorns......an internal siren to make him to deaf....Autolok the steering wheel.....or remove it if you have a Nardi wheel....I used to do that.....I'm a paranoid kunt :uh-huh:
  3. huh? there's a reason for not going in neutral while braking in racing simply because....well...they're racing of course :uh-huh: any sudden increase/decrease of traction force at the tyres will greatly screw up the car's balance while racing...hence why the heel&toe method...to match the revs... normal day-to-day driving....the effects are negligible....I only do it because it's just smoother....be able to upshift/downshift without actually feeling the car jerk/lurch/pitch forward etc etc.....
  4. I practice heel & toe whenever I can....people think I'm crazy but there's just some sense of satisfaction in getting your rpms just right for the shift. other than that.....if slowing down to a red light I just pop it in neutral and let it cruise with light braking.
  5. nevertheless,as this is new law is being implemented; the ministers and public will be looking for "results" so to speak. So I suggest we all be extra careful and not become scapegoats of this witchhunt....it's about the only thing we can do for now...give it 3 months....and see how this goes...after all...we always conduct ourselves in an orderly manner on the roads now don't we?
  6. it's all about having self restraint...some people have it...some just don't learn...and no amount of driver training/education will change that....it's just gonna make them think they're invincible. it's like martial arts...some people learn it for self-defense.....while some will think they can take on anyone after a few lessons.....
  7. I vaguely remember the early model MX5s coming with the 1.6 engine....the later ones(non-flip headlights) came with a 1.8litre? personally I'd think it'll be far out for the original script to make that error....i mean it's pretty obvious that's not a v-type engine....quad-throttles....4 ignition leads....hmmm....
  8. Whoever subbed mine obviously didn't have a good knowledge of in-line engines and the 'vee' configuration engines....
  9. might wanna try asking around the SilviaWA Forums
  10. all comes down to self restraint....everything else are just excuses.
  11. I thought the term "ATTESA Pro" was given to the R33 GTRs 4wd system which was the improvement from the R32 ATTESA system? and correct me if I'm wrong I think the R33 VSPECS came with an Active-LSD system....
  12. fact #1 : There will always be bent cops fact #2 : There will also always be drivers out there wanting to show off their 'fully sick!' drifts/burnouts on public roads. Point? You have dickheads from both sides of the fence. :flamed: Tip : being nice and polite to the officer often helps in situations pertaining to the above fact #1; having an ego about it if you're in the wrong doesn't help things PS: I'm glad someone agrees with me for once.
  13. I think it's largely to label those who put stickers(HKS/GREDDY/APEXi/etc) and obviously don't have the parts on board the vehicle(I once spotted 'APEXi' stickers on an old school Ford POS-something....hmmm). Also those who try to badge their cars into what's obviously not what is was originally...namely Honda boys and they obsession with labelling everything into a Type-R...Mitsu Lancer owners with their EVOLUTION/RALLiART stickering, and as of late some GTSt drivers with their GT-R badges. I don't classify those who put on GT-R kits as rice, but to actually badge it into something it's obviously not...that's rice.
