  1. Doors not closing properly is a sign of some major damage...it may look superficial but you may have bent the roof. Hope you're ok though, car accidents are never fun for the body.
  2. Pending pricing...subscribed! *prays to the boost gods my install goes fine and no extra $$$ needed to be spent*
  3. Haven't used them myself but I've heard good things about Manta Racing.
  4. Springs are springs...there's some difference between cold wound and hot wound ones but most manufacturers now do cold wound springs. So long as the spring profile matches, find them somewhere else. Do you have adjustable swaybars in the rear Sled?
  5. Nah, I remember getting paranoid about my minimum clearance...and a friend told me about the coke can which I had absolutely no chance of going over! So I measured it a while ago 100mm at lowest point, mine was exhaust, easily fixed because my hangers were bent wrong when installing the high flow cat hence it was way lower than it should have been.
  6. I'm pretty sure a coke can standing is around 130mm...
  7. I'm pretty sure my springs are 5kg/4kg...gonna see If I can dig up my original receipts...
  8. Mine set me back $1200 as I already had the Whiteline springs and it took 3 weeks from date of order, but this was back in March. Not sure how it is now though. It all depends if you are ordering stuff he has in stock and wether it was allocated to you. Mine was in stock at the time.
  9. Seriously...look at the Group Buy, its really not that expensive for Bilsteins+Whiteline combo...off the top of my head, all you need right now are shocks+springs+bumpstops (571+154+56)*2 = 1562 - 5% discount = $1483.90! 1500 for a combo that is firm and supple...but then of course thats ideal for street. If I we're to take my car to do some motorsports, I'd just get stiffer sway bars. Otherwise I think they feel great! FYI: I moved from dead stock shocks to Koni's to Bilsteins and I'm happiest with my car now
  10. Bilsteins...go the Sydneykid groupbuy!
  11. I'm pretty sure a free flowing exhaust's main benefits is not the peak power increase, but rather the boost in midrange. Most people do exhaust first because it's a relatively cheap cost to power increase boost. Front pipes aren't really important, cat back is very common, but I'd rather the whole lot Most common upgrade sequence I've seen is: Cat back exhaust, airfilter(pods or high flow panel), turbos/turbos + ecu depending on your turbo choices, ecu if not done yet, injectors, cams, dumps/fronts Thats just the bolt ons...do internals when they go bang or any point between!
  12. Nismoid has a set of Trust Pipes FS atm at a good price, and definitely get high flow cats.
  13. Group Buy available here
  14. I've experienced a ride in an R32 with 2530s(=2860-5) which are quite nice, but that car was running R-Compound and already felt damn scary. Sorry, I don't think I have the balls to have something with that type of power delivery in a daily driver Maybe with some more confidence and experience with a higher power level may change my mind...but I'll wait and upgrade instead of jumping in too deep
  15. Is he still there? With what happened to Tillbrooks anyways...
  16. Who tuned your D-Jetro DSTROY?
  17. Don't think I'm gonna change to MAF sensors, I heard its not as "drivable" ie, great for power but mine is a daily
  18. Practically brand new (Right hand side test fitted) R32 GTS/T Clear indicators $200 Comes with a pair of the large orange globes, LH Side still covered in cling wrap. Bought them for my GTR because the guy said they were d-speed's which they aren't...
  19. Yup, I knew about the 3 versions of the 34 N1 Turbos, I'g getting the AA403's but I'm kinda confused with that chart when I saw it first time around: The AA403's have a different Compressor Housing?
  20. Yeah, seen a few FC's in the FS section, and Slidewize are doing new ones for $980 delivered...so I'm just shopping right now, still have a week or 2 before the car goes into Boostworx and I'm just being stingy atm It's on the cards though, all about the timing of the purchase now...darn old cars! Still have a squeak on the front right suspension area thats driving me nuts!
  21. Need some clarification about the tune. I was under the impression that the stock ECU doesn't have any facilities for tuning, only an aftermarket ECU does...thats right, right?
  22. From what I've heard, the differences between N1's and GT-SS are quite negligible.
  23. After some major research I've settled for these turbos, was just wondering who in SA is running these turbos? Would love to hear your opinion on em Also, open question: I'm getting them fitted at the same time as my Trust MX Extension front pipes...would this combo run fine with the stock ECU? I'm still hunting for a Power FC atm.
  24. Cheap PowerFC for R32GTR with Hand Controller...was gonna buy new, but now a bit strapped...
  25. I've been doing a fair bit of research on new snails... t517z x2: Beware theres 2 types of housings, an 8cm and 10cm one. 8cm is equivilent to GT5860-7(HKS GTSS), 10's = GT5680-5(HKS GTRS) and SLED is correct that they aren't Ball Bearing. From what I've heard quite linear quite peaky compared to the Garrets. The -5 is bigger than the -7 if that makes any sense. Some specs here: Gtr twin turbo comparisons I've settled for a set of 34N1's because they're supposed to be similar to stock response.
