  1. Some of what I listed can be picked up with just a visual inspection, however some things need manual labour to test and will get charged for. Compression is usually a no brainer but leakdown and flow testing pumps etc should cost something. A lot of the stuff in my car I only picked up as I owned it, couldn't really get a thorough inspection done in Japan since mine was imported.
  2. Things to replace/maintain: everything included in a 100k kms service, if you are unsure of true km's which most will be, suspension bushings are usually shot to hell(well mine were), rubber boots (gearbox, driveshafts, suspension), suspension if it is still stock as they are so old. Get your pumps tested and replaced if they're not flowing (they are suprisingly tough though). Window seals are usually bad as well, my boot fills with water, I just don't store anything in the boot. Oh, and get your car doors reset as they're usually sagged...I still haven't gotten around to doing mine
  3. Well when you say that...yes it's happened before, smashed window last time! They don't want whatever valuables are in the car, they want the car. I'm afraid I'll get towed next time...so another warning: GO GET YOUR ALARMS! I've been saved several times already by it.
  4. Great to see lots of people had fun...my weekend ended up like crap, I shoulda just ditched all commitments and came along....arghhh! Next time, screw commitments!
  5. Lol, didn't even realise the typo...yeah pretty much in a rage when I typed it up and it's not worth claiming. So annoyed still.
  6. In the middle North east, prefer not to give my location away...
  7. Car got broken into at 4:45pm today...go get your alarms fitted NOW! Lucky my alarm went off but I still have a hole in my door handle...grrr Dark Blue S3 RX7 pulled out of the driveway when I went to check on the alarm, pity couldn't get plates coz I was fumbling for my car keys. Arghhh!
  8. Hmm, I think I found that answer to the thing you were pondering Pauly
  9. Oh well, I'm out...a prior commitment that I totally forgot about just lodged itself into that day. Maybe next time
  10. Whats the difference between the evolution and extreme? http://www.trust-power.com/01exhaust/index.html doesn't even have an evolution?
  11. I'm an SAU virgin alright? Seriously though, even drag racing launches don't look like that.
  12. OMFG, I've never seen a launch like that before
  13. We are going to eat lunch...actually I've forgotten where.
  14. Once you figure that one out Pauly, let me know ok?
  15. Could I get a PM too, I'm still iffy about the day as my weekends usually are spontaneous.
  16. There are plenty of perfectly normal people on that forum *nudge nudge* *wink wink*
  17. I'm making an assumption that the 34GT is an auto so ignore me if it isn't
  18. Only other thing that needs to be taken into account is auto/manual as I'm pretty sure the PowerFC doesn't have any control over the auto box which means you need to run both the standard ECU as well as the PFC.
  19. Lol, found this on ozhonda DIY I think if I get desperate enough, I'll use em
  20. I'm kinda in the same boat at the moment. I have a set of Volk Racing Challenge FZero wheels all missing center caps, they were stolen when the wheels were shipped to Australia a long time ago. Problem being that they are a discontinued wheel so I'm just after generic centre caps. Anything to get rid of the gaping hole that is only now starting to annoy me
  21. Weds 22nd works for me.
  22. Hotwire's suggestion sounds good to me! Procrastination FTW!
  23. I'd like to know too!
  24. SydneyKid was offline for a while so my order has been back logged
  25. Lunch schedule for me is flexible so I don't mind.
