  1. you could probably go for a few mm more offset if you like. however the offsets of the wheels your looking at will fit no probs. just like fitting any other wheel. name/pics of the wheels your getting? please not bob-jane specials lol
  2. 18 x 8.5 +29 235/40/18 on the front 18x 9.5 +25 245/40/18 on the rear these are my current size/offset, not too outrageous but still pretty phat dude. my beast has a fat ass from behind with those back wheels
  3. spotted some rough but tough 180sx's/200sx's parked at lobethal last night. saw some FAT offset and at least 2 rolls of gaffa tape and a jumbo pack of zip ties attached to the vehicles needless to say, i had my 'oh shit' tool box in the back with assorted tools/tape/ties/jumper leads
  4. +1 for coilpacks. Mine shat themselves just before the 100Km service - so be prepared for a big hit if the car you are looking at is coming up for its 100K (most these days are hard to come by with that little KM's anyway!) I went from a 32 to an S15 then to my R34 - best decision i made coming back to the solid strong platform that is the 34 from the '15. My rear cradle bushings (think thats what they are) went to gravy a while ago and i was getting some weird knocking noises from the back. If the bushes havent been replaced rather recently that may need doing. Are you looking at manual or auto?
  5. sweet day -some awesome cars on show! my personal favourite (dont hate me too much here) - was a blue evo 6 with a smorgsabord of CF parts. That turned my half-mast into a full car boner the whole day. Kristian's 34 looked pretty special as well - first class parking for the chef as well
  6. hope it gets sorted mate - at first glance the pics dont look too bad, but hell - that swift must've spanked you pretty hard my regrets dude, hope it turns out slicker than before
  7. i'll be heading down providing HQ doesnt serve me too many drinks for my mates 21st sat night
  8. go to a parking lot right/left hand down full lock floor it and see if the orange T/C / SLIP blinks in the middle of the dash?
  9. spotted a white stag follow me from pt wakefield rd, up heaslip road then down womma around 5:30PM. cool ride
  10. spotted a red VN sliding into and ONTO a gutter at munno parra shops. lucky no pedestrians were around. you f*ckhead.
  11. grey stag with black buddyclubs (something like that) and CF bonnet on waymouth st? around 12:30. Tough Silver 34 GTT with gold/silver lipped bbs meshies on the parade around 12 And a certain silver 33 gts-t pig with black skirts and lips on pt wakefield road at Gepps Cross - i KNOW you saw me Krishy!
  12. I agree with Phil as above. The LS3 option might get alot of people screaming blasphemy but f*ck....different much?!
  13. ^^^ not essential at the very minute but top recommendation in future. I would replace your 'cooler core mate, dont worry about the plenum. Browse the ForSale stuff for a Jap-brand second-hand one. +1 for PFC hand controller!
  14. ive got 235/40/18 federal 595's on the front of my 34...not bad for grip and they last quite a while. but the road noise generated from them is fkn shit. hope your exhaust+induction is extra loud otherwise the road noise will just piss you off. go the kuhmo's. ive had several sets in different ranges (KU31, KU36) and they are quite good.
  15. bayside 34R on port wakefield road north-bound towards wallaroo around 10am. shortly followed by a mint looking grey/silver 32 gts-t
  16. nice project mate- i wouldnt worry about chrome plating pipes or putting a 'spare' pod on to make it look like thats the air intake, save your cash for a stronger 'box. It looks way sleeper as it is, 99% of cops wouldnt second guess your engine bay at all, looks boring as and well maintained.
  17. ECU depends largely on the tuner of ur choice and what software they are familiar with. An apexi power FC + hand controller is pretty hard to go wrong with for around $1500 brand new
  18. front swaybar links as in swaybar link bolts?? im after a set atm. send pics so i can confirm to [email protected] cheers
  19. i personally wouldnt touch the control arm. who knows how much that is going to affect the integrity of the arm + what if you get defected? would they knock you for that? could mean a new control arm... thought i wouldnt be able to say this but it looks fkn sweet tho mate, tuff as nails
  20. +1 for the pirtek general-use oil resistant hose, thats what i hooked my greddy catch can up with and it hasn't warped/deformed at all after 8+ months of use. looks the goods as well with some nice fittings
  21. well your clearly a positive person
  22. ^^well said Julz. personally, i like the holden - yummy flared guards and nice sounding '8! who gives a shit how it goes on the track - who buys a ute for that purpose anyway? Peace
  23. Thanks for your advice Dunc, getting it checked out today
