who the hell are you man, i've never heard so much crap in my life, if you wanna spend about a hundred grand on traumatics and trans brakes and stall converters and 9 inch diffs and ladder bars and then have someone drive your car around on a trailer go ahead, what a waste, you obviously don't understand the dynamics of a skyline when you drive a boat with wheels, VL commondores are the worst handling of all, they were designed to have a bench seat in the front so they were all given really soft spongy front springs then the bench seat was canned but they still got floaty boat suspension, have fun at calder dickhead, enjoy the drive their on the back of a trailer, i'd rather drive mine there do a high 11 and drive home and only spend about 30 grand to have a quick daily driver instead of a trailer bound strip basher. Happy driving dumbass

Thanks to Ash, Andrew and James, was a great day, must admit this is the best car/cruising club in VIC by far. In respect to the next cruise I found out yesterday the Reefton Spur which was one of the options for the last cruise has been resealed and now a lot less bumps, nice and smooth, is a great drive too and the Reefton Hotel has lots of parking space, roads are pretty clear on Saturdays aswell, chockas with tourists on Sundays, roads stay real wet out there in winter though so maybe in late spring we organise a Reefton Spur cruise.

Awesome day guys, all I talked to were really nice and was fun doing 100 (my speed limiter works) on the way home. Thanks to the guys who stopped to help when I had troubles with the car, thanks also to Gerald - ICEGTR - for having a look under the bonet at the pub. Great fun for my missus and my boy aswell, looking forward to the next one. -
Does anyone know if it is possible to put an RB26DETT head on an RB30ET block? And what if any mods are required to do the conversion? Can anyone help?

Heh, torque, you're a lucky p**ck, sorry to hear that the good old TMU have outshone their tight a**iness selves again. Yeah I agree Jamez go all the way if you want and really **** them up.

Don't you guys hate reading and hearing about how hoons in imported TURBO cars are causing havoc on the roads and that we all deserve to have our license revoked. Well this is what I think when I read sh*t like the quotes above. I have an IQ of 137 and I have been a security guard for 2 and a half years, I started a new job in IT today because I am also a qualified programmer, so you must understand that anger clouds cognitive thought processes and you are all not thinking practically, I chose to undertake security because I changed jobs and chose to go into IT so I worked 50 hours per week and studied for 25 with a partner and a child and a mortgage. You also must understand that bouncers do not help the police they actually create work for them by throwing people out of clubs and such, anyway the judicial system treats bouncers who do f**k up harshly because they are issued a license by an agency that is controlled by Victoria Police, ultimately it is the State and Federal Governments fault because they will not regulate the industry, it prefers to have shonky operators who go around to pubs and clubs and undercut other shonky operators who are doing it to someone else, anyway to cut a long story short, security companies and licensed venues only get what they pay for, pay peanuts and you'll get monkeys, or people who are desperate enough to work in sh*t conditions. Anyway my heart goes out to David and his family, the moral of the story is everyone don't generalise about one group or another because it leads to negativity, how would you all like it if one day someone does a burn out near your house in an identical Skyline and people come knocking on your door saying your a f*ckwit or calling the police onto you, you wouldn't like it would you, this idiot will do lots of time in prison and so he should but don't put htem all in a nutshell, I have some very good friends who are very smart who just didn't or don't have the opportunity to get out of the industry. Thanks for listening.

I have decided what to do, bleed valve K&n filter (of some description) hybrid front mount power fc veilside combat R bodykit bosch fuel pump 720cc injectors Z32 AF meter X-force tuned length turbo manifold C's short shifter twin plate clutch then maybe a gt 30-40 and a set of forgies I should be able to do this for under $10 grand (hopefully)
-
for a big turbo do you mean a GT30 - 40 ? Would they bolt on or need oil and water line to be fabricated. Also I found out from my exhaust guy that his supplier will be getting X-force tuned length turbo manifolds to suit RB25 for about $700 plus fitting, they look really good too as they are totally stainless.
