  1. Their attitude towards my car was pretty bad and that was with me standing 3 metres away from them watching, I wonder what they would have done if I wasnt there lol. Throwing all my parts against the wall letting it rebound onto the floor and they threw my new turboback into a pile of old random exhaust parts so when they took the old exhaust off I had to find my parts in the mess. They did have 2 workers who were really friendly but they wernt working on my car, Maybe there the ones who get them the good reviews on the car forums. The other 3 were just crap.
  2. Yeah they were pretty expencive, charged me $220 for 1 and a half hours work. Lucky I won some money from an EPL multibet or I would have left lol, but I couldnt be stuffed booking or checking somewhere else though. This turboback didnt line up properly so they had to heat parts and bend it to fit. They are pretty dodgy with prices and not very customer friendly. Was good that they let me watch as they worked, but I could tell that they hated me being there. They did work pretty fast though. But there high prices and bad attitudes made it a bad experience and I wont be using them again. Overall though the Kakimoto Regu r 06 sound is exactly what I wanted, Nice and quiet and flows good to.
  3. What do you mean you seen too much of there work? Have they done a few dodgy jobs u know of? I only heard good comments about Dandy exhausts. I gave you a msg this morning not sure if I wrote the right number in my phone though lol. I trust myself changing the oil, but other stuff I gotta see how its done properly first before I give it a try.
  4. Ended up finishing work early and getting it done at Dandy exhausts. Next time ill give you a call David. Will be putting on a returnflow intercooler sometime soon. I know they are easy jobs but I'd rather let someone who knows what there doing do the job for me just in case I damage anything.
  5. Hey, I just got my turboback delivered today and was looking at getting it installed before the weekend. I drove past Daalder and Dandy exhausts but they looked shut, So im guessing most places would also be shut. I was just wondering if anyone knew someone who could install it for me afterhours 5pm onwards South east Vic area.
  6. Should be a few used catbacks around the $300-400 mark in parts for sale section. Should be able to get that money back from selling your catback to.
  7. Just wondering, Has anyone had any solenoid problems running this boost mod without a switch from around 2004-07 to now?
  8. In my old crappy commodore id always just wipe it with a damp cloth and wipe it dry, it didnt come back untill more coolant squirted out from somewhere.

  11. I clean mine with any wax. Just put alot on and scrub hard and the yellow should come off. Your not actually buffing the headlight, The wax just mixes helps loosen the yellow and you can quickly wipe it off while the wax is still wet. Dont let it dry/haze or itll just need more wax to get off. I just have the condensation inside my headlights now. Hopefully this hot weather can clear it up.
  12. I'm selling my old Ipod, Black 6th gen model 80GB. It is in very good condition I only used this Ipod to connect via AUX in my old car. My skyline only has a MP3 player with no aux or ipod input so I really have no use for it anymore. Selling the Ipod without accesories, So no earphones or usb cable. Price : $120 ono
  13. Yeah im really not after anything loud, seems pretty much everythings over the legal limit.I just dont wanna put one on and have to change it back to stock straight away for epa test I have alot of cops here in Frankston area . Is it bad to change the downpipe to 3" and put on a highflow cat and use the stock catback? I've checked other forums and they have mixed opinions but most of them said they done it and it works fine, WRX/BMW forums. I know it's probably not the right thing to do but I'm just curious if its ok or not.
  14. damn, If you were in vic i'd buy it straight away. I'm too impatient to wait for shipping lol. Good price for a turboback though.
  15. I also cleaned mine without sanding and it came up like new, Put a layer of carnaubra wax over the top after and they look much better, Had to scrub pretty hard to get it off.
  16. Oh I'm not after boost issues , Guess ill have to order the front pipe and highflow cat from somewhere and get catback second hand if i can manage to find a decent one. Was I missing any other pieces needed? Now these both have good reviews but its a Catco vs X-Force highflow cat decision and for the front pipe i'm not sure which to get.

  18. Looks like ill have to go kakimoto. Did you keep the JJR front pipes on and just put on kakimoto catback and that made it quiet?
  19. Hey I was looking at getting this, Really cheap price for a turboback. Just wondering if anyone has one of these on there car? Just from looking at it, I think it will be a bit loud. I'm after something quiet though, but the price has me. What do you guys think? I Was also looking at the kakimoto regu, which seems to have good reviews on this forum, but just the catback alone is more than this full exhaust. My cars stock to. http://www.justjap.c...319&cat=&page=1
  20. This is a bit far from sorrento, but my old boss from supercheapauto has a jet ski hire company he does on the side. May be cheaper than most places to. He had about 12 jet skis for hire 3 years ago when I last asked him how its going, Guessing his got more now. Its called Frankston Jet Ski Hire. 0404 107 529 - James Just got the number and info from quick google search but im pretty sure thats the one lol. Either James or his brother should answer.
  21. I got the BCPR6ES and took them down to him to put in. We opened up the top and it had a set of platinum plugs still in ok condition. I cant remember exactly what they were, I think PFR6G-11. Anyways he gave me a massive lecture about how I should get another set of the platinums and just stick with the same plug if it was running good already. Then another lecture telling me not to waste money on modifying, Followed by his other mechanic friend coming over and telling me not to waste money then his friend at bursons also saying not to waste money. Then his auto elec told me to go all out on it So we went out and got another set of the platinums and he used mechanics discount for me We installed them no problems, Except the gasket from one of the pieces that connects to that silver pipe over the middle of the engine fell off and took us a while to find it in the engine. I still have the copper plugs though which I'll hold onto them for the next change if I end up running higher boost
