Getting 200kw on a GTR at all 4 wheels
GZ R33 replied to Ethan_R32's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
In my opinion keeping everything pretty standard and uping the boost, I think 200 4wkw is not unrealistic. Depends on the car. -
Sounds good, any pics ?
-
I'll get back to ya.
-
Maybe, where ?

I am almost certain that when mine was installed they fed it through the drivers side wheel arch, need to remove the plastic inside and you will see two holes with wiring going from the cabin to the engine bay
-
Next weekend would be better for me.
-
Put it this way I've got 600cc and there just enough for 320 4wkw
-
Injectors are the same for v-spec, 414cc for the r32 & r33 pretty sure they would be still the same on a r34.

I have got a wedding to go to on Saturday.

Just wondering when the next cruise will be on.

-

Intercooler - Entry and Exit on the same side??
GZ R33 replied to a topic in General Automotive Discussion
In your case it would be alot better, no extra piping required to get to the other side of the cooler. -
Anyone see the mad black GTR R32 with a big NISMO cooler, 18" rims.
-
I wouldn't say they were the worst tyre. If I wanted the best I would have to pay $750 each instead of $260, so I reckon there fantastic.
-
Was the body of the car to low or was the exhaust to low.
-
What revs was that at, for a 6 cyl it is 4,500rpm.
-
They are about $250 each. You can advance the inlet and retard the exhaust cam timing. Basically everything happens quicker and earlier in the rev range.

From all the shops mentioned I have personally heard good and bad things about them, so it really depends what you need done. I think we are fortunate to have choice of places in Canberra that can basically get all our shit and do a reasonable job for us at a reasonable price. I'm sure you all know what the prices are like in Sydney. You should take your cars where you feel the most comfortable with. But I don't think we should name names or say one's better than the other because they are all good and they are all crap. ;)

Iridiums are the best, followed by platiniums. Iridiums burn excess shit off to help keep clean, they still foul though but that's because of tuning.

That's right, for 300kw at the wheels you will need the following. Bigger turbos say 2540's, power fc, cam gears, injectors, rail, pump, regulator, exhaust, bigger cooler & probably suggest some coils and a bloody good tuner. You can pretty well get to 270kw at the wheels with out doing the fuel system but again you need a good tuner. Bottom line is you need money.:uh-huh:
