  1. Put them on now and leave at zero for both, settings differ on cars depending on the mods, i.e. I have +3 In & -5 Ex. You really need an expert to set them. If not done properly you could rob yourself of power.

  5. They are pretty quiet compared to other ebc's. I am hoping that the ticking noise is just the valve for the ebc, mine is located in the engine bay, they make the noise when you start boosting. The screens are really hot that's normal.
  6. With 2540's and no ecu starts boosting at 4000rpm and hits full boost at about 6000rpm. There are alot more variables that can change this such as, power fc, cams, cam gears, boost level etc.
  7. Power Fc + boost controller (AVCR/HKS) If you decide down the track u want to modify more these things don't need to be changed.
  8. I agree with everything except you definately need an intercooler min 100mm. Air flow meters are debateable, maybe a set of coils.
  9. 1. Apexi software is in Japanese, hense the training. 2. CAS = Croydon Auto Sports. 3. In your posts you doubt or disagree with replies to your posts. Trust me I have already gone through this shit before, take my advice, ring them up and talk to them (have to talk to Jim only), I will almost guarantee that sooner or later you will end up going there.
  10. Gdump - lose the grudge mate, what's your problem. The lap top software is from Apexi, you need to go to Japan to be trained. The hc only allows minor ignition and timing adjustments and that my friend is what you need tuned the most, so if you want a mild tune go there, if you want it done to it's full potential go to CAS. You get what you pay for. Why don't you give them a buzz and talk to Jim.

  13. Apparently Croydon are the only ones in Australia that have the software, all others tune off hand controller. (With software there is at least 30kw more)

  18. boost gauge must be removed from a pillar. it has a mines computer, i dont know if thats ok or not??? but i know they will check it. The gauge should be fine, and don't say anything about the computer actually just say everything is standard, they don't know that much about these cars.

  20. I prefer the AVCR, if later on you get a PowerFC they work perfectly together, my mate has the HKS one and when he comes hard on boost the thing registers all 8's because it can't keep up.
