  1. I have a series 3 and they do come with a sports pack. 19inch rays rims, manual only, stiffer suspension and LSD. NO brembos. Not sure about the interior though as I don't own the sports model.
  2. Hi, I'm looking for a Nismo or HKS exhaust for my skyline 350GT coupe. Please pm me if you have any!!
  3. Hey buddy, From a personal experience go to one that is approved by NRMA there's less than 300 across NSW. Dont know how many in Sydney, google will help you Make sure they provide you with a letter stating that they would fix any problems with the paint in the future. In addition make sure their paint gives you lifetime warranty. I have had some terrible experience with a bad paint job before what I wrote was recommended by many panel beaters and a paint assessor. Good luck!!
  4. Thanks for your opinions guys, much appreciate them
  5. Hi guys, I'm seeking some advice as I'm considering an upgrade. For all the 370GT drivers, how does the 370GT compare to the 350GT to drive? I know it is heavier but it has 40kw more... On paper it does 5.7sec for 0-100km/h?? How does it handle? There's 5 speed and 7 speed. Can we import the 7 speed models? Or is manual a better option? Your opinions would be appreciated Also how much do u guys think the market price is for 2006 350GT auto?
  6. hi guys, just wanted to know what is a good tyre to use and the reasonable price for them? I currently have bridgestone potenza re50a 245/45/18 but it is due for a change. I have noticed that the rear wheels doesn't grip so well from a hard takeoff. I've read some reviews on other tyres but not sure how reliable they are so I am seeking some personal experiences. if you could post the brand, quality and price I would really appreciate it. I also heard that new tyres our from bridgestone re002 any users??
  7. sorry for such a noob question but what is this smart key you guys are talking about?? I have an 06 coupe but my key looks pretty standard to me... was the smart key an option? p.s from my understanding a smart key is like the one in infiniti or E class merc, BMW 7 series etc.... keep the keys in your pocket or inside the car but u can still turn the engine on without plugging the key... am I right??
  8. I thought they only sound good if you have the headers too bit I guess not... some of the exhaust systems are very expensive. like the Nismo and HKS kits...
  9. thanks for the info but since I'm such a noob I don't want to risk installing the spacer myself... as for headers and exhaust, If I don't install the headers would my exhaust still sound good??
  10. hi guys just need some advice on where to have my plenum spacer installed. I live in Sydney and I want to know how much is a reasonable price to pay to have the plenum spacer installed. do u guys have a recommended place to do this? also I want to buy and install headers, which one is good and how much would I be looking at? replies would be greatly appreciated. Paul
  11. I'm interested in the side skirts and te rear bumper. I have an 06 model is it the same shape?? also what colour are they?
  12. because there are Gt-Rs out there. I guess it's all about personal opinion. But some people on other skyline forum seems to laugh at the body kit. Because they believe that whoever buys the GT-R kit is a GT-R wannabe... No personal offence, just sharing what's on other forums. The front bumper is more aggressive though
  13. Don't get the GT-R kit please... the rims look great ! and probably lower it a bit
  14. I've heard from various mechanics and some users that the oil based air filters are not good for our engines, hence, K&N is not good for the VQ engine is what I've been hearing. that's why I started this topic. i'm currently in usa, temporarily. K&N filters cost around $40-$50 brand new but I am hesitant to purchase it for that reason. The Trust Airinx GT are not available here, they can be shipped from JPN for around $85 USD after doing some ressearch. so I just wanted opinions on what you guys know about them. thanks for the replies so far, i will be waiting for more !!
  15. Hey everyone, I just wanted to know your experiences with panel filters. I've been hearing k&n and greddy airinx are good. All opinions and experiences are appreciated
  16. cool, thanks for the info must say though h/w patrol = public enemy number 1 !!!
  17. this was a very good read, thanks a lot buddy

  20. Hey, thanks for your reply. Could you please tell me more?? I just ordered it so i will receive it 2 days or so. I have no idea about these griunding kits. I know what they do but I don't know how to install. When you say "add an extra cable" do I have to purchase additional cables?? it says it is 4/8 awg cable whatever that means. I was told by Victor to buy that type. and also what do u mean by weird :connect to battery things?" did I pay for the wrong stuff ??
  21. They are pretty good. Affiliated under some huge insurance company... I had someone damaging my left front panels and scratched my left rim, so i had to get those repaired. AI insurance basically told me that I could choose any panel beater and their service was great. I would recommend it.
  22. This is an insurance question, with the modifications of the following 1. Pod FIlters 2. Z-tube 3. Grounding Kit 4. Plenum Spacers 5. Strut brace Do I have to tell the insurance company that I have made these modifications?
