That is the one in Victoria right?? The thing is, I'm so noob with mechanics I don't even know where my ecu is Correct me if i'm wrong, but I'm looking to spend $500 on, 1. Plenum Spacers 2. Pod Filter & Z-tube I heard from many sources that this would give me around 25Hp at the engine? is this correct? and I have purchased a grounding kit just now on e-bay. I hope it's good. It's stillen grounding kit for infiniti g35. I paid $79 USD since yous eem to be the guy who knows more on this stuff, can I install plenum spacers, pod filters ans z-tube on my own? or does it require professional work? Also is a z-tube necessary for additional horsepower? your reply would be appreciated

thanks for ur opinion Dale, I'm currently in USA atm so I've been looking at the prices here compared to sydney. I've read some good reviews for chips that cost $80-$120 and the expensive ones are $500... The good one was called SLR motorsports performance chip. These prices does not include the labour costs. whereas in sydney I've noticed these chips cost around $2k-$2.5k...some idiot quoted $4k... but all these prices in sydney includes the cost of labour... so are you of the belief that anything under $2k would be useless? and that I will have to go through a professional to have them installed? I know nothing about the mechanical side, so I do not wish to install them myself. have you had any experience with performance chips/ECUs?

I have been reading posts about series 1, series 2 and series 3?? what are the differences and how do you find out which is which?? I have an 06 V35 does that mean it is a series 3? are there significant differences between the 3 series's?

I have an 06 coupe. My button is on the right hand side. For my car, I believe it is a "kill switch" If I press it (button pushed), the engine won't start. If I press it again (Button pushed out) the engine starts when I turn the key. I have a different button for folding mirrors hope it helps.

Thanks for your reply, it is much appreciated Air temperature is a new one ! on the same road it is little bit better. I was referring to the actual power to my rear wheels, cos if I still get the same power I would be getting wheel spins if i lack grip right?

Hi guys, I own an 06 auto skyline. I was wondering if you guys have the same problem. When I step on the accelerator from a stopped position I feel that the power delivered to my rear wheels aren't always the same... Sometimes I feel a split second lag... sometimes it is much more responsive... I've noticed that it launches more consistently when I'm in drive, with VDC switched off. Whereas on a GOOD day the semi auto's 1st gear launches alot harder... On a BAD day however, the semi auto launch isn't as good... To be more precise, sometimes I can hear my tyres screeching (Good day) and I feel more stronger pull. But this isn't the case all the time... my 0-100km/h ranges from roughly 5.9 - 6.9 (stop watch times not precise) depending on how well the launch is... usually in drive, I've been averaging around 6.2 I think... Do any of you guys have the same problem? i.e. through mods? ECU? if so, is there a way to fix this problem? p.s. I have no mods, it's stock. your reply would be appreciated Nam Gun (Paul)
