I used the search button and found this thread! I also am thinking of removing air pods and goin for stock airbox. But dunno if my GReddy intake piping will line up with a stock air box. Maybe a custom made one is the go! ? Can't imagine all that hot air is doin the intercooler any favors....

Nice pics man. I like the clear indicators on the front. The rear of your car is different to mine, as I have different brake and indicator lights and a chrome piece at the end of the brake lights either side of the number plates. I will throw some pics up of mine sometime today to show ya

So its best to do said launch right outside drivetrain mechanics workshop!!! Yeah, I know no one can say where or when it'll break. Just was chasing info on who does it too there cars on SAU.

Yer. I've only just had the box in and out of it. The workshop said from looking at the car whilst it was up on the hoist, that it looks as though its a pretty tough set up as it came from the factory.

Its exactly the same as a GTR except that its a wagon. It certainly ain't something I am gunna do everytime I drive the car. I am just curious to try it out!

Why would ya lose third from dumping the clutch in first? Or are you saying if I flog it in every gear, that third is the weekest link?

Good point. Its got a fair few mods. Its estimated by previous owner to have 400bhp when boosted up to 17psi. It supposedly has run as high as 23psi back in Japan before it was imported. At the moment its only running 7psi at the due to bodgey boost controller. Bhp feels the same as a mates R34 that runs 12psi. Basically I am just wondering how strong these drivetrains are.

Gday. I want to know if a Autech 260RS will handle doing a launch at redline with semi slick tyres. Cars engine and drivetrain are in A1 condition, and very well maintained. Vehicle has traveled 71,000 ks. It also has a $3000 exedy triple plate clutch (or something similar) which gives heaps of bite. I know no one can say for sure if any particular vehicle will be able to do without breaking. I am mainly wondering if anyone with same/similar vehicle and drive train has done it. Any comments are appreciated.

Even FAST gets it wrong sometimes (im still hopeing). Everything else about my car tells me its 260rs except for this FAST they mention.

I can't stand the cock smokers that get on a freeway/motorway on ramp and poke along like an old mole all the way along it and then try a merge at their 80ks into traffic that's doing 110ks+. Its even worse when ya following one of them onto said on ramp. It ain't hard. Get on, and get into it you idiots!!!

Yes. Shame the Albion pub was under staffed. Even with me telling em to have enough staff for the 30odd people that'd be attending the cruise, they never had a hope in hell trying to accommodate the 60plus people that actually came on the day. Atleast the weather was awesome. Couldn't of been better.

The same reason I got my 260RS. A family car... with some serious horsepower.

I just spoke to the owner of the pub and told her what's goin on morrow and she is PUMPED! Its a crackin day in Singo today, I hope the weather is exactly the same morrow. Will be fantastic sitting in the shady beer garden kicking back listening to some live music with our counter meals!! I will be ready and waiting for you to arrive. Leave it with me. I will take care of it . Its not so much "getting served straight away", its so they have extra staff to carry the load. I spoke to one of the barmaids this morning and she is PUMPED. She is rostered off on Sunday but will be at the pub with camera in hand. I will be waiting for you all to arrive, because my car wont be back on the road till monday . Unless I hook up with Livewire from this forum or another local with his R34.

Okay gang. I am currently at the pub which is the destination for the cruise to Singleton. Just on my second schooner after breakfast after work, whilst being served by topless waitresses. . The staff would like a number of the amount of people that'll be attending the pub for lunch. I told em 20. Is there anyway we can get a bit of an idea of the amount of people that'll be coming. That way the pub will know how many staff to put on for the day.

Yeah. You could do that, but that'd be pretty gay. The best bit of the whole road is the last 16ks of road from Howes valley to Milbrodale. That's the best god damn section on the whole road!! Yee haa!
