  1. I have a set that i need GONE from my garage. They came with my car when I purchased it. The previous owner used them for carrying snow board. The brand of them is TERZO. Here is some pics! This is what they would bolt to on MY car. Let me know if your keen. or anyone else for that matter!!! Make me an offer $$$
  2. I got a bit carried away in the grass events at the local car show. I think I dumped the clutch too hard in reverse gear... Gunna get it fixed in the new year. New diff, uni joint for the drive shafts, get the rear diff checked out, brass button clutch is a little noisy so that will get a look too. I am keen to have an A1 drivetrain. Does anyone know if these cars will handle 8000RPM launches?
  3. Put my 260RS in a local car show on Sunday. Went awesome in the grass event and came 2nd. Got a trophy and a broken front diff for my efforts .
  4. Mate! Thanks for such indepth replies! I will give this a go today. So is there no need to pull the 4WD fuse from the engine bay. I only have to follow the instructions posted above?
  5. As far as I know, it's R33 underneath. Will look at removing said shaft when its up on the hoist today. Thanks for you advice mate.
  6. Not sure what you mean by preload. Car was definitely NOT sending power to the front wheels that I could tell. I will put it on a hoist morrow and see what happens when all 4wheels are off the ground and the car is in 1st gear. See answer above. Car smoked the rear wheels today. Its never done that before! Will see what happens morrow and report back. Thanks guys.
  7. Hasn't anyone got any info to share on this subject? Surely someone on here has dyno'd their GTR on a 2WD dyno before!? I have read the thread on here about the subject several times. Without finding a definite answer. Some of the info in it was posted 4years ago. C'mon guys... help me out!
  8. Ok. No replies... I know, i know. I should of used the SEARCH first. Well I been searching and reading up all night at work. And we got home this morn and pulled out the fuse/circuit breaker for the 4WD system. The light for the 4WD was lit up on the dash, and then we took it for a spin. This is cut and pasted from another thread on SAU... "its a peice of cake, remove a fuse in the engine bay, drive the car for like 200m just to bleed the pressure out of the front, then away you go. we have 2 customers with 4wd stags that come here. They pull the fuse out at there place then drive it in, by the time they get here, all good to go" I popped the clutch whilst turning into another street and the Stagea slid sideways and lit up the semi slicks effortless! Whilst doin this a second time, my mate made note to stare at the gauge in the console that tells ya how much drive is goin to the front wheels. It never moved a single millimetre. So can we be under the assumption that removing said fuse circuit breaker is "basically" the same as an on & off switch for the 4WD system (correct me if i am wrong). Will my car now be safe for a couple a runs on the 2WD dyno at the local car show? I certainly think it will be!!
  9. As per the title. Is there any way to stop the car wanting to send drive to the front wheels? Apparently there is a fuse one can pull to turn the car into a rear wheel drive. Anyone know which one it may be? We got a local car show on this weekend, and have made a last minutes decision to go. I'd love to be able to see what sort of HP my cars got and therefore "stick it" to all the local V8 boys! Any info you can share would be appreciated!
  10. As per the title. The Rear steering rack in my Autech 260RS needs replacing. Does anyone know where I can buy a reconditioned one or even a brand new one? Would also love a part number .
  11. Hey guys. I know this is an old thread but thought that i would reply as it has alot of the info that i was searching for, and i see that alot of you blokes posting in it are local too me. So, is the mob "Hunter all wheel dyno" the goods? I am so keen to get my Stagea on a dyno and get my boost controller sorted out as the best that i can get is 7PSI. I do not know how to adlust the Blitz boost controller Currently the car "feels" like its got 400+bhp but i know it has got a heap more in it yet. I aint interested in tuning it on the road. That'd have to be the quickest way to jail. i.e. Killing someone or a huge speeding fine. Also I am keen to find out who you guys use to service and modify your vehicles. So far the best I can find is "Larry, Moe, and Curly" at the Toy Shop Imports at Beresfield. I find them very unprofesional and they lack customer sevice. Thanks in advance guys. Look forward to meeting you all one day!
  12. Thanks mate! I checked their website out. Looks like its exactly the place that I am after.
  13. So, seeing as no one has answered the question of where is the best place to get an AWD car dyno'd... Does that mean the NO-ONE on this fine forum has ever had thier GTR dyno'd before? If I find a mob that does it and end up gettin it done, then i will be sure to share it with you
  14. Damn it! Why did you post up pics of this thing? Now I need to buy one. Are you sure it will not fit a series 1 260RS?
  15. Wow! What would be the benefit of a "metal" one over a "plastic" one? And exactly who sells it? Is there a website?
  16. Its no prob. The 32861-05U00 seemed to fit into the gearbox quiete well. But if there is slop "up and down" in the gear stick, then this must mean the bush must not sit high enough therefore giving the gearstick room to move. The bush's we have mention only cost$5 or $7, so I will order one of each!
  17. Ok. I have had a look at it and it appears that it is a Mines ECU with its own Id Number stamped onto a gold plaque. So can this ECU be tweeked whilst the car is on a Dyno?
  18. Well I have purchased and installed a bush that is a genuine Nissan item 32861-05U00. https://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=18009. This part specifiys it should be the correct one for my Stagea. BUT... The gear stick still feels as if there is no bush in there at all, just as it did when it fell out in the first place. The post above this one states I should have part No. 32861-H7301 https://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=18010 Will this take the slop out of my stick? As it is now with the 32861-05U00, the gear stick can be pulled up and down as there is a fair bit of "play" in it. It feels terrible. Anyone got any ideas?
  19. I would be almost cetain it has an after market ECU. There aint much that is stock standard on this car. How would i check the ECU to know its aftermarket? Also doesnt ANYONE on here know of an AWD dyno that they can reccomend?
  20. Funny thing about that is. I recently posted this question about awd dyno for my car, and got told it don't matter... just pull a fuse and run it on a 2wd dyno.
  21. This is the part here: http://justjap.com/store/images/P/32861-05U00.jpg Thanks for posting that link up! I just ordered two of em. Gunna keep one as a spare. The reason it fell out (i think) is the nylon bush was probably worn out and with me doing a quick hard shift into 2ND gear, it has thrown the stick and nylon bush out of position. After pulling the rubber boot off the top of the transmisson, we found the old nylon bush. The C-clip and everything else that was supposed to be there looked to be A1. I could only get 3RD and 5TH straight after it hapened because the stick was completly out of the selector. Once I had stopped the vehicle and calmed down abit, I was able to get the gear stick in its right place in the selector and could then select every gear by moving the gear stick gently.
  22. Goin by his user profile, he was on line at 7:56am this mornin. . Probably reading this thread
  23. Thankyou so much for this info. You have helped me out a heap with this answer. I will get on to the local auto parts shop ASAP!
  24. If no-one is sure of the part I need, can you help me out with a parts diagram for said transmission?
