well that is what i was going to do for a while til i read plenty of threads on calaisturbo mentioning they couldnt handle much but hey do whatever you feel is right

like rolls said i wish i had of bought a vl already turbo'd but then again i loved building it myself but like they always say DO IT ONCE DO RIGHT

or buy yourself a rb25det half cut i did for my vl however i underestimated how much it would cost me and it ended up costing me close to 8-10gs if you turbo a r31 skyline( stock rb30) you will need to rebuild whole motor no point just slapping on a decomp plate and turbo kit cause it wont hold much boost at all. if you want information on all of it go to calaisturbo.com.au they will tell you everything yopu need to know about the rb30

im on double or nothing well no you dont loose your license if you go onto licensing services on the net and check your license it still says active. basicly it just means you are on a good behaviour bond with 1 demerit point for a year. so if you lost your license for 3 months but take the double or nothing if you loose that 1 point you loose your license for 6 months instead of the 3 months that originaly was meant to be

i didnt touch it my tuner wired in the microtech i just know the purple plug at the back of the plenum is not connected into anything and yes i still do have a TPS

also if the piping does not have a lip or little weld tacs on the end get these done that way the clamp cant slip over the edge also

mine is not connected but thats due to the car not having aircon at all however im running a microtech also

was waiting for someone to say a turbo tech they are brilliant 30bucks from ebay and if your not pushing for to much power they are great just bleed 2-3psi out of it and you should be fine.

hey guys i need to hook my carbon canister back up due to taking car over pits however im not sure which vac line goes where. i know one line comes from throttle body and the other comes from plenum. problem being is which line goes to which port on the canister.

nah thats your aircon so dont use your air con for now if still overheats then you have a blockage

no he said does it have thermo fans or clutch fan clutch fan is the big creme fan or do you have fans bolted up against the radiator. if the big creme fan the clutch is buggered if thermos id say relay is shot

i have a bit more room than you lol its a vl so strut tower not a problem haha

hey guys i have 6 external bosch coils for sale good condition all working fine $400 brand new will sell for $100 i also have a microtech X6 ignition module to go aswell 150 brand new will sell for $50 i need these gone as car sales are not going to well and need the ash ASAP. great upgrade for a series 1 rb25det also have a rb30 intake manifold with all sensors and injectors $100

now that would be a good choice my neighbour has a dato ute that he has turbocharged running a water 2 air and it also decreases lag he starts spooling at about 2000rpm with a standard rb25 turbo on a 1.5L goes hard

i was going to run a turbo on a carby motor in a gemini once from all the research i did no one seemed to run a cooler however i cant see why it cant be done. but depends on the boost level http://turbogemini.com/Blow%20Through%20Carby%20Kit.htm thats the kit i was looking at for the gemini i know its a different motor but it would be same setup

liek i mentioned in the first post its in a vl so the front pipe in 3inch custom but it connects to the standard dump so a dump on its own is what i need i just want a bit of a upgrade/dress up for the dump because the standard cast looks terrible against a black engine bay haha should i email JJR about it

well because it was put into a vl it was not plugged in in the first place so the tuners just left the plug hanging there not plugged into anything so i cut it to neaten it off johnnor31 ill try and get one first if not it will be great if i can borrow one
