Ok so I just bought a Kakimoto regu 06&r catback from forsale for 600 bucks including postage! Pretty excited. Just wondering what differences there are with pod filters. Do the brands make different induction noises/loudness? More power? What would be best bang for your buck considering loudness and power

How did you do it Martin?? Go into an exhaust shop and told them what you wanted and they made it?? Hmm sounds a bit to deep from the YouTube videos lance. I just want a quiet exhaust but when you put your foot down it roars which I think the Kakimoto will accommodate. I'll have to wait till texi to make my desicion I think. I leave for work at 630 so I need something that I can sneak away with. Fujitsubos sound alright. You've definitely given me a hard descision but from YouTube videos I like Kakimoto the best. Problem is with those vids you don't k ow what other mods they have. Ei decat etc. Kakimoto is legal too isn't it?

A p plater concerned about 260 km/h and sliding around corners. Forget about the house loan you won't need it if you get what I mean I'm pretty sure a s2000 may be illegal on your ps. You can't drive 350zs on your ps cause there to powerful. Should look into that.

Whats an example of a mild steel exhaust?? Do any big brands use it?? I really keen on a Kakimoto exhaust. Love the roar on high revs. I'm going to nsw texi in 2 weeks so hopefully someone has that exhaust so it can confirm my choice Try to change my mind though .

With aftermarket plumb back do you need an aftermarket ecu and tune?? Ok I'll YouTube that too. I've got alot of research to do, I love it! The misses won't though .

Yeah I wouldn't mind that rather then getting an ecu as I've discovered from this helpful post. Is the metal intake pipe the one from the filter to the turbo?? And is the dump/front pipe the one after the turbo on the exhaust side?? Or did I just embarrass myself?

Hey guys. Not sure if this is the right section, couldnt find anywhere else. Ive recently bought a stock as a rock gtt and am looking in the bov and exhaust market. My problem is that im finding it hard to know what sounds like what and how to find all the brands out there, im looking for a 3inch cat back that doesnt have that drone loud sound at low revs, im looking for a sporty sound that lets loose at high revs if that makes sense, much like a hks hi power silent. As for bovs i dont mind the hks ssqv but would like a slight flutter at high boost, (although if that is intended by the makers of the bov, i dont want any damage to the turbo, not sure if it exsists) but im not sure how to find what outs there besides aweful quality youtube videos and off topic google searches. has anyone else had similar frustration or know any guides or videos? any help would be much appreciated. jarrad
