On the topic of the Oceanic Servers. According to EA / Bioware, to coincide with the Australian release of SWTOR, they are looking at finalising a location for an australian based server? Most like will be offering free transfers too.. That being said, I need to buy the damn game as I'm getting itchy, already downloaded the client and installed it.. can't buy a damn key from swtor.com itself.. apart from ebgames who are importing them in low numbers .. anyone recommend anyway just to purchase a key / game itself? or anyone know where i can get my hands on a copy in melb?
-
Hey was wanting to know of any decent places in melb to fix gutter rash preferably s.e melb? Annoyingly one of my wheels decided to have an argument with a kerb (p.s I hate southland and their narrow ramps in the parking lot near the cinema area) Would people have a rough idea on how much it might cost? I figure whats going to hurt the most is painting the wheel as its a chromium black (shadow chrome? black chrome?) thanks in advance..

+1 for stuarts post. I've actually removed my badges, I was just going to leave the "350GT" badge on the rear in the original position, but it just didn't look right. changed my grille to the gialla style grille as well so no badges whatsoever I like making people think about what car it is lol

Heard about the GTCC one. Was thinking of attending that one (depending on my mate) Again Push comes to shove, I'm able to do the 17th as well just need to depend on the time you wish to have a v35 one. Only really have a house warming to attend, but not 100% confirmed. If numbers are low on the 17th? can always have a drive to garage cafe? etc?

New wheels? What size? Get coils and drop it .. I just put my new wheels on and Definitly next on the list is lowering it.. looking like a rollerskate atm.. lol
-
I'd be interested.. be nice to meet some fellow V owners for the first time .. prob can't do it on the 17th though house warming.. but keep us posted..

IBest way to think about it IMO is to think about what you want from your car. considering your budget, i think you have a fair bit of leeway as to where you want to go You could just buy Cobeys turbo kit

thanks for all the responses guys, also did a quick check on g35driver to make sure the VDC won't have a brain fart when I put them on. I think i'll be going with the federals (for this instance anyway) Most reviews / reports i've read on them shows that they are a pretty decent tyre, and considering the budget i'm on I think it's a decent bet. The car is mainly a daily driver, and I don't really intend on taking it to the track. Just would like a bit more peace of mind when its wet. Maybe we can start a thread (sticky perhaps) with everyones setups (offsets / tyre sizes) centralised to the v35 forum to make things a little bit easier for others, (on top of using g35driver) will post pics when I get the wheels on..

makes plenty sense. thanks for the help!

Thanks for that, what you're saying is making a bit more sense now when I'm using the tire calculator... That being said as the 275/30s are closest to the original tires, would it be best to be running a 235/35/19 on my front compared to the 245/35? having put those numbers in the the diff between the 245/35 & 235/35 is just 3.566mm (85.598mm vs 82.042mm) It shows the 235/35s will impact the speedo less, and are as close to being the right setup for the tyres? (or did I just answer my question?)
-
Just a question for the tyre gurus out there. Currently in the market for new tyres, and after lots of research (which includes here & g35driver) Bear in mind i'm on a budget at the moment, and have narrowed it down to the following. Nankang NS2 (I figure brand new chinese tyres are better than getting secondhand anything) Setup for these will be 245/35/19 Fronts & 275/35/19 Rears. (Quoted $910 fitted by TTF in dandenong) Federal 595s 245/35/19 Front & 275/30/19 Rears. (Quoted $860 fitted by wheeltech) Now here's the question - Are there any issues running a 30 series tyre for my rears as opposed to a 35 series? Would it actually look stupid considering theres a 5mm difference fronts vs rears? I've also read that if i dont have correct tyre sizes that this may prematuresly set off the VDC, so would running the 35series front and 30 series rear cause this in the tyre size im looking for? If it helps i'm currently on 235/45/17 all round Thoughts? (or any recommendations for tyres accepted lol)

Silver Coupe princes hwy outbound about.. oh 35 minutes ago.. If you're on here.. When did you get your OEM 19s?? Pretty sure you had different wheels previously. -
Did you have any fitment issues with your exhaust? do your tips sit flush on the rear? or is that a moot point because you have the kenstyle? My tips arent sitting flushed, and apparently it was a massive pain to get it put on. FB doesn't erally do the exhaust justice though. Back on point for paul, from what I've been told, installing the headers will be the bit that costs you with the labour involved, but when it comes to light mods, generally most people go the spacer + exhaust + HFCs / Test pipes + Ztube & pod / panel filter.

Hey, are you able to get a set of 522s? Looking for them in Chromium Black 19x8.5 +15 Front 19x10 +20 Rears
-
looking good there tank Would you have any pictures in sunlight the way they are now? Currently looking at doing a light tint on mine, and if you say its a slightly darker red then it would be a good investment of 26$. Especially seeing as the cops in victoria are a bit trigger happy when pulling people over (having said that though, I've not been pulled over once by cops *knocks on wood*) How long did it take you to do it all yourself?
