  1. so having read the last couple pages. I'm assuming that 19x8.5 +15 F & 19x10+20 R will fit without the need for rolling guards?
  2. You could essentially look @ either the v35 section of the forum / look up g35driver.. Most common mods which occur first are Exhaust + HFC / Test pipes (some say replacing the stock cats with HFCs / Test pipes is better than going exhaust + stock pipes. each to their own really lol) Ztube + pod / panel filter (CAI) 5/16 plenum spacer that should give you enough without killing yourself.
  3. They... do... If you pay the full excess.. Had to deal with them towards the end of June when my car was broken into (smashed driver's side window). Excess $500. (FYI they don't cover items taken from the car) Anyway they were at least nice enough to tell me to look around to see if you can get it repaired for cheaper before lodging a claim (which I Managed to do) I'd recommend reading the policy before you do sign up with them. As it is I'm Switching back to RACV, Pay a little bit more, but, all in all better policy cover. I've been quoted 1.8k full comp rating 1 with an agreed value of $28k (I'm 28, no prior claims) etc.
  4. Just cars seem like an absolute joke is something which I've learnt over the last few days. Had my car broken into smashed my drivers side windscreen. and I have to pay the full access to have the drivers side window replaced. Mind you.. $500 is a lot cheaper to get it sorted compared to being quoted $900 by obriens (window only) and $1.3k by nissan australia (Window only) there also seems to be a shortage of drivers side windows in victoria (and im thinking the country? But yes, I'm thinking of moving my policy across through back to RACV just did a quote just then and the annual premium is 1.9k (which is about $200 more than my current annual premium) and I get better cover.... Mind you i'm 27 with no prior claims.
  5. yea.. i managed to source one through importmonster however its a 2 week wait from japan and its $650 which is good. they just dont guarantee it wont be damaged.. coz its a piece of glass. going to give it one more day, if my mechanic cant source one insterstate ill lodge a claim with justcars tomorrow =\
  6. hey guys, i was hoping one of you can help me with an issue. My V was broken into the other night and they smashed my drivers side window.. since then I've been having troubles trying to source a new window for it.. (Obrien 900$ for a window.. Nissan Australia - $1.3k ... for a window.. ) and ive spent the better part of 3 days trying to source a window (one place even said, the right windows are going like hotcakes, heaps of left ones.. no more right) Any help will be awesome! p.s. once its all sorted im down for a V Melb drivers meetup!
  7. Must be the month for it.. just had my v35 2dr broken into 2 days ago.. now trying to source a window for my drivers side =\ Nissan australia quoting $1.3k and a 3 week wait importmonster will be getting back to me because they havent ordered one before .. and general japanese spares don't have anymore.. does anyone know of anyone in victoria where i might be able to source a part .. or hell even interstate much thanks for any assistance
  8. Hey guys, New member, and located in melbourne. Have owned my V35 since september last year and loving every bit of it. Already posted a couple of pics in the gallery thread, so I thought I'd introduce myself here. Haven't had much done to it as of yet, been doing a lot of research and hopefully purchasing a catback exhaust in the next fortnight.. G35driver + this = not much work done at work I do have to say
  9. hey all, new to the forum.. Loving the boomin V35 scene! I've had my V for a couple months now, (very few things done to it, intake / gialla style grille / debaged) currently saving either for exhaust / wheels.. haven't QUITE decided yet.. lol here's a couple pics for now. apologies for bad quality.. photos taken on phone.
