All good mate.

I have a spare one if you need to get you through
-
The fitting to bleed the systems i just made with air hose fittings to allow it to be bled easily and limited fluid loss
-
No i bought mine from aleks when he stripped his car but yes its scottys cooling mod.
All up took me close to 5 hours as i installed the radiator and thermostat as well and bled it like 4 times. -
Assuming it needs a replacement BCM ( black box ticking) aleks (fishing freak).has in for sale that could get you out of a bind.

These pics may help

Looks like a waterpump with heating element
-
You'll definitely have to pull out the radiator; they're bolted together.
Headache -
If the stock ecu picks it up but with the emanage isnt that wire servered and rerouted and will not register?
-
Its from the stock ecu
-
Stand in line boys....

WTF is that how thin these Radiators are? The factory replacement, is that from Scotty?
Yup. Thats how thin they are. Amazing really

Check the level of the fluid in attesa pump. There is a high low sensor.

Funny you say that, currently blocked off with a Coke can from the previous owner aha.
*shakes head* amatures -
I do love a bbq

Will definitely be looking into boost controllers soon, in regards to cabin controlled BOVs (GFB deceptor pro in particular) allow you to switch between plumb back, vent to atmosphere or anything in between for full gobble if you wish (don't judge) haha.
Seems a lot of effort just for the bov. Venting to atmosphere from what i understand will lower the intakes air volume hense messing with ecu fuel/air volumes. -
You should cut out the electric lock, button switch , and rear wiper motor and keep for spares.
I have a spare tailgate, I think you have to cut the composite to get to them.
I currently have up for sale the spare rear glass, latch motor, door button, hatch seal rubber & latch motor control box. Far ahead of you.
And no you dont need to cut anything to get them out. Just undo the bolts and get them on the right angles and they will come out. I also plan on deleting the rear wiper just need to find a delete plug im happy with.

Todays job was replacing the rear door. (As you can see by the photos nissan dont paint the section where the rear door hinges are so rush accumulates). For all those saying you are 'no rust' i doubt it.

What body kits are available nowadays ? I'm only doing enquiries, but from the basic looking I'm doing, not much around..
And am I correct in thinking I've got to be careful, as series 1 to series 2 on the m35's have a couple of little differences around the headlights..
i don't like copying but can't deny I love the look of jet wrecks arx..
I believe you mean Aleks kit (fishing freak). There are many kits avaliable from Axis, Takero, Giala, Kenstyle, Dolphin, Impul, Aero Selection, Nismo to mention a few.
Series 1 is different to series 2 in the way of different bonnet, lights and front bar. Be careful what you buy.
I recently installed the Series 1 Axis kit on my Rs. -
Picked up the car and i'm loving it!! Spent a couple hours today starting to make that pearl shine (size of these cars is daunting:mellow:) so that's going to consume my spare time this week!
But for now question time!
- Previous owner removed the pop out screen, I've replaced it today and it doesn't function how ever i don't have the nav unit in the glove box which i'm guessing is why it wont function?
- What are people running in the way of cabin controlled BOVs? I'm a fan of the GFB stealth II just unsure of there compatibility on the VQ.
- Exhaust suggestions? I believe the car already had fujitsubo on it previously
Yea you need the dvd rom & tv tuner to run the screen.
I believe this had a stock exhaust as he didnt get the chance to fit the exhaust.
Im running a turbosmart kompact BOV (not sure why you want a cabin controlled unit). -
I smell $$ for dale

Just got the chance to finally take the 35 out following the 2nd 2nd brace install. Very impressed with the way the rear of the car is now tight in and out of cornering. Noticed more traction and control delivery and almost nil body roll. Very happy
