Ok everyone, here are the dates being discussed and I will contact everyone who has confirmed with further information. Feb: Thurs 13th to Wed 19th

Spotless engine/block in a 20+ year old car....warning bells would set me off straight away!! Either way, you've been given the best advice you could be given and now the rest is in your hands!! Personally if someone said it "just" needed re-gassing, I'd make sure they gassed that f@(ker up before I picked it up, then checked that cold a/c air was getting blown out and not just the fan blowing hot air like the dealer!!

Ok seems like the first two weeks of feb is the consensus, I will confirm with Chris and get back to everyone once it's locked in. Ok peeps here goes, as has been discussed in a previous topic and by a few pm's I have decided to get this thread going. As we all want to keep our beloved cars safe and secure and the rise of skylines being stolen or at least attempted (my own just before Christmas was nearly taken!) we have an opportunity to bring Chris down to melbourne to help us out with his expertise! Forum members that are interested you can either reply to this thread or send myself a pm. Installs will be happening in a workshop in Boronia. The following are the details of the alarm that will be getting installed. Alarm Details: Auto watch 446p -glass break/ shock and battery back up siren -install is stealth and has a few hidden oem relays that will drop multple circuits in the car -included is a hidden activation switch. (This means that if the keys are snatched the car still will not move) -turbo timer is included (if not needed/wanted it's a flick of a switch by installer) -remote boot release is optional extra -page & track is optional extra + requires a sim -tilt is optional extra *Google the alarm and you will find a lot of detailed information and it is a highly rated and adr approved alarm. *Edit: this has now been moved from its original location.

Just an FYI...can get these brand new for that...actually less than that now.

Only matters cos I got sent a link to an eBay item from a mate asking if this would help his newly acquired skyline, doesn't look like any manifolds I've seen and couldn't make out why the piping was even done that way lol Was hoping someone might be able to identify it as I know at some stage or another we've all gone down that cheaper road...only to realise we were better off waiting for the better option!

Subscribed and waiting, back in the day you'd have a long list of reputable installers to use...not the same these days!! There's a Brisbane installer that is highly recommended and has come down to melbourne previously to install for other forum members. If we get afew members together we may be able to organise this again.
