  2. Thanks for the advice man, yeh a compression test was done and they were all perfect. all the tests made a healthy outcome.. i still think its worth building it cus if shit blows ill end up spending more money trying to fix shit. if were to build it what will i be looking at replacing exactly? Rods pistons etc, but i dont no everything so if anyone can help me out on exactly what i need that will be awesome
  3. Hey Fellas , i know this thread is going back a while now but instead of making a new topic i thought id keep this one going. i've got a healthy 1994 GTR and i'm fair new to this game and it so happens i wanted the goal of 300-320 AWKW give or take aswell. I would love to reach it but the most important thing to me is reliability but obviously id love to hit my goal. My mate spoke to his tuner and his tuner said anything over 260awkw is pushing the reliability out the window and becoming a ticking time bomb without a rebuilt engine. I was curious of your thoughts, I've read the entire thread here and seems to have gave me some tips but im still confused, because heaps of people run over 270 in a GTST and whatnot :S. My car is pretty much a stocker no internals as i know have been changed. All that would really help would be the N1 Oil Pump and N1 Water pump and Yellow Jacket Coil pack and iridium spark plugs. The engine was taken out a few months before i owned it and he had replaced every seal, every belt and inspected everything for rust etc etc and all was clean... I also had a MTA inspection on this car when i bought it for my peace at mind and the guy said it was one of the healthiest gtrs so that was great for me ! I don't do 8grand dumps or burnouts on streets... i would go to the drags every now and a again, i do give my car a lil but i'm never really bouncing off the limiter. Its a pride and joy for a reason to me Thanks for anyones help i appreciate it.
  4. I done my number plate bracket yeste , came out as a massive success, i thank you Mark for your tutorial the only thing i changed was i measured a marking on the L bracket then drilled holes all the same length so the number plates were flush with the bar rather then sticking out 1cm or so.. great tut (Y) thanks so much.
  5. It was the switch that was causing the problem, the switchs themselves are heaps shit, worst quality to be honest... it burnt my wiring too which was expected, so what i did was went to the wreckers and pulled wiring off a N14 pulsar which connected straight up. obviously had different colours but u do the obvious and take notice what wire goes where before u cut the burnt harness. Heres a few pictures of the switch for anyone for the future. Heres the burnt Wiring and Switch photos And a Computerised Version listing of R32 Parts. Hope that helps. Got any questions then give a buzz.
  6. Very Highly doubt that, they are strickly a small round 6inch tight... Where a 6x9 obviously has a very deep oval, i bet u that u wouldn't even fit half the speaker in.
  7. yeah, u can go without a amp and it can sound good, but yeah if u want realllyy want a good full potiental of the speaker go a amp.
  8. No u dont lol. :S wtf... U can run a good set of speakers off a headunit and tune the headunit to run no bass off the speakers. Then the good speakers will go heaps better then ur typical shit speakers. Thats what i do for my daily. I run a amp and sub and let that be the bass.. But theres no way what u just said is true. I've done heaps of installs. just need a half decent headunit that will tune ur typical bass , treble and mid etc etc. Goes hard and sounds great... I've got Rockford Punchs and Powers run off a Headunit. yeah obviously its not gna sound AS good as a amped speaker.... but it Def still sounds heaps good without if u go the right way about it.. If u run bass through speakers and the headunit then theres no way ur gna have quality.
  9. Wow that was Awesome !
  10. for r32 Isnt it this ? http://imageshack.us...32fuse.jpg/sr=1
  11. Curious what alpine speaker you tested was shit ? Because TYPE R and X is def's killers. I use to have Rockford Punchs they went heaps good. but Type R was ment to the be matching form to punch.
  12. i believe they are abit of a boat, but in all honesty, change suspension and do ur part in getting it stiffer then that will be gone. then powerrrrr it As for the camry yeah dw about what he said, u like ur car then dont worry about what people say However, Aurions is the new model up from the avalon, and is completly different to the camry in power, looks sorta similar, dont misjudge who to run haha, cus aurions are machines
  13. Dude that is so beautiful , honest to god i freeeeaking LOVE it. How wide are them wheels? 10's?
  14. heaps good tutorial man, i've been following it and im almost done Def beats cutting or bending plates that we pay alot of money for .
  15. Hello, Just wondering what my 1994 R32 GT-R Would run as Dash leds? T10 i think, but i want to make sure pleaseee? and how many do they run, i want to replace the entire lot ! thanks !
  16. Hey buddy, ur post about the Dash lights not working along with front and rear parkers i have that exact problem , any idea how much for a new switch / was it hard to fix , what was your process ? I really need to fix this so your help is very appreciated. thanks !

  17. "It'll be the light switch itself. Ive just repaired my switch as I was having exactly the same problem! No dash or parkers but had headlights and brake lights...

The little plastic spring loaded triggers in the switch that move the metal contacts wear down giving you the problem youre have right now.

You need to disassemble the switch and replace the worn spri...

  18. I have this exact problem right now in my 1994 R32 GTR , any chance of what its worth for a new switch ? thanks !
  19. Looks heaps good, i just recently had my wheels powder coated also, i was surprised at how cheap powder coating is... 40 a wheel where i got it done. thats the centre pieces, plus the meshie on BBS RS wheels. the only thing id say to do with yours is get black wheel nuts they would look much nicer but it looks very nice ! grats
  20. Does anyone have a spare bolt for a 17x9 BBS RS rim, On the bolt it says 10.9. I snapped one today and just need 1 and 1 nut ( in silver chrome/standard colour) :@ soo anoying but its the only thing stoping me having this finished, I live in Australia - Sydney. any one that can send me that would be awesome, $$ for u or can anyone lead me in the right direction in getting some CHEAP, i really dont want to have to buy 136 bolts just cus i snapped 1 >:| thankssss !!
  21. Rockford / Alpine - Best bang for buck imo !
  22. very nice car man, but you are asking for alot , therefore u might wait a while for a sale or might never even sell it.. i just bought my 1994 R32 GTR in silver for 16.3k with 68000 kz , i had MTA inspect it like u did. came out perfect !
  23. Thanks Hattori but im going to need them asap like today/tommorow..... if all goes well today with a r32 GTR i'm buying the rear tyres are near bald and he hasn't got spare stockies. I Should have wrote ANY STOCKIES TO FIT/SUIT R32 GTR. Thanks !
