  1. Well done alex! my old r33 with ~180rwkw I took to the drags just before I sold it and best I could crack was a 14.1, but that was mainly because I am crap at the drags and wheelspun most of the way, but still, 14's is a great time!! I cant wait for mine to be tuned then I'll be off to the drags to see what it can do Might be an idea to start a new thread, just for 1/4 mile times. We have a sticky thread like that in the qld section, which works well as you can then post up what you got then later down the track after mods post up again and see the difference and compare with other times. Be nice to have one just for stageas Well done again alex!
  2. that dood has teh mspaint skillz
  3. Exactly, now everyone knows I can drive for crap, and on each of the drift days i went to, not one went by without me having a highspeed paddock bash. As long as you turn for the corners and actually know that your car is properly maintained and mechanically sound, then why not go have a go?
  4. Sent. I dont know why the big rush for them is all for, I wouldve thought people knew about this as it is not a new thing, meh still got like 92 left
  5. The last dyno day which was run by the club was also a very successfull Membership drive, but dont you think it is still a bit hot to run these durning the day? I know we could just find one to have at night, maybe a sausage sizzel for dinner and then do the runs once it gets cooler, like at 3am I agree with slamm, there are heaps of things we could do, I like the idea of a bowling night....?
  6. It's a big silver box with cuation airbag stickers all over it and heaps of wires running from it towards the front of the car, looks like it belongs there as all the mounts for it are there and it actually sits raised about 1cm off the floor pan. I'll take some pics when I can, dont hold your breath though
  7. Other - I wouldn't mind attending all the above events, but the major factor determining me actually going is funds and what else I am doing.
  8. I actually use it more because you can use that space as a "networked" drive, well only if you are a hardcore geek and run linux boxes around the place. It's just nice to stick some stuff on it and have access to it from anywhere there is a *nix box available
  9. If you haven't already heard about Gmail, it's a new search-based webmail service that offers: - Over 2,500 megabytes (two gigabytes) of free storage - Built-in Google search that instantly finds any message you want - Automatic arrangement of messages and related replies into "conversations" - Text ads and related pages that are relevant to the content of your messages Gmail is still in an early stage of development. But if you set up an account, you'll be able to keep it even after we make Gmail more widely available. We might also ask for your comments and suggestions periodically and we appreciate your help in making Gmail even better. Thanks, The Gmail Team To learn more about Gmail before registering, visit: http://mail.google.com/mail/help/benefits.html

  22. I hardly go past 4.5k to 5k just putting around town. But highway merges get the rpm limiter, except mine hits 8k rpm as the limiter, which is hard to get used to as my skyline hit it at 7k rpm so was used to shifting as it past 6.5k rpm, still I dont have a need to do that constantly. I didnt think the power range went through the rpm range anyway? Like doesnt the power band fall off after 6k rpm? Or am I just spouting crap again...?
  23. Are these for standard S1 stagea brake calipers SK?
  24. yeah the 260 is a totally different vehicle eh, just looks the same, but soo much more is put into a 260 than a normal rs-four!
  25. Send it to GCG, I think SK got his highflowed for around that mark, I _think_.
