  1. Or buy the Whitline/Blistien shocks from SK's group buy?
  2. Moved thread to For Sale Section
  3. Yes, daily driver for me. Yes, Carting around a family. Yes, just by myself. I basically had to get rid of my R33 coupe when I got married as it was just not practical as a family car. When presented with the opportunity to trade my R33 + cash for the stagea, I didnt hesitate. My stagea is so much better than my R33 in nearly every way. Better ride, more power, more room, 5 doors, 2 sunroofs, leather interior, etc etc etc. I LOVE cruising around by myself in it, as I now attract zero attention from the police, as it is a wagon, not a sports car *cough*. Also for the fact that it is fairly quick for a street car, I wouldnt consider it fast as the tune it has atm is for economy, so it has no torque through the mid/high range rpm, so it takes off fast and then struggles to push through the 60-80kph barrier with a punch, but a retune of the pfc would fix that. I love the fact that I can fit 2 eskies, 2 kids bikes, a bbq with gas bottle, and my whole family, comfortably, and still be able to have some get-up-and-go. Leather makes it easy to keep clean with the kids, not that I allow my kids to eat or drink in the car, but as always with kids, accidents do happen, but when they do it is really easy to clean it up. The back seats are great for when my kids fall asleep, as I can lay them back so that they are not sleeping sitting up and have their head flop from side to side when I turn corners or get a kinked neck. They also love the fact that they have their own sunroof. My stagea makes a great daily driver, it is relatively fuel efficient, relative to how much throttle + boost you use that is. And is easy to park, easy to access and pack groceries into, easy to manage the rear seats from the rear door, so that they fold forward allowing you to stick long things in without walking around to side doors and putting them down. I have been able to cart around huge cupboards by sticking them on the standard roof racks. All in all, my stagea has been the most useful, fun, reliable vehicles I HAVE EVER owned, only getting rid of it because we are being given a VS wagon, and we cant really afford to run two cars, and we really could do with a healthier budget, and because the VS is cheaper to run, cheaper to insure, it means I will have to part with my beloved car, something I am not looking forward to, but it's something I must do, for the sake of my family.

Oh and BIG THANK YOU to CRD motorsports, for basically holding the hand of the mechs up here, these guys are used to working on normal cars, not real cars, and I think have called up CRD lots, and everytime I am told that CRD is mor than happy to help them out and give them advise, I really appreciate it!

Nope, I did some very quick research, and could find any bad reports about the 044 and only a couple of bad about the 040, and even then they were probably mounted to high. I went and saw the beast on the weekend, she is pouting and ignoring me cause I have borrowed a 99 barina auto to run around in....... Anyway, the 044 is mounted in the cradle as low as physically possible. Just waiting for the CRD motorsport guys to get back to my workshop with a couple of fittings. I'm praying that the stupid thing just works, I hate driving the barina, it sucks hairy dog balls, I want my Stag back

What do you mean, only for a few seconds dan, could you please enlighting this noob? Also where are all the rest of the relays?
  7. I went from an R33 to the Stagea, and the Stagea outperforms the r33 in every way. Mine will be for sale soon for between $20,000 and $15,000, check out the pics and modlist in my signature. It is uncategorically the best vehicle I have ever owned, selling it only to save money.

Nah, but good suggestion. I checked all the fuses, and even swapped the seemingly good fuse for a known working one. The workshop tested for power and it seems there is power getting to the fuse, but none at the pump. But the pump was definatly dead. Anyone know where the relay would be for a Stagea fuel pump?
  9. Yeah Chris is defiantly the man, I might be flying him up to rocky soon do do some work on my beast................
  10. Yeah do a bit of a search, last answer to the issue was sand it all off and respray door, easy.
  11. Yeah very common, I havent heard of anyone who hasnt got a tiny bit of rust there yet.
  12. Organize it and they will come! I was unable to make the last meet, which was pretty good by the looks of the pictures!

Well now an update, the SARD was not able to be sourced, but the 044 is nearing having the cradle modified to suit and new piping from enzed to go to the fuel sock.
  14. Oh no, that sucks........... I hope it all works out!
  15. Bloody awesome kit! And manual ftw!
  16. Yeap, looks like you have an atessa controller installed, but as with the R33/R34 atessa, evenwith it turned off, there is still some torque which is transfered to the front. Leaving it off will eventually result in a costly gearbox rebuild as it'll burn out the clutch packs, or so I have read.
  17. Here is what is in Nissan FAST:
  18. Now that the Power-FC has been discontinued, I would assume that most people will turn to the E-Manage as the next best alternative, which will in turn hopefully push tuners into getting aquainted with them, and hey presto, in time I think the E-Manage will become the new Power-FC.
  19. All the weights are in the workshop manuals, if I can be bothered I'll take screen shots and post them today.
  20. Yeah buy a turbotech, $35, fully adjustable, better than my greddy ebc! But if you are so cheap that you dont want to spend $35, then yeah ground the wire, hey presto
  21. PS This is the link to his FS thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p;#entry3171645
  22. The kit is a MASA kit, darrin is currently putting one on the front end of his car, still that is one sweeeeeet looking stagea!!!! The purists will comment about the badge on the front, but, meh, that is a beautiful vehicle!
  23. I just saw this and thought it might be interesting to compare, it is from the Series 1 workshop manual: BTW if anyone could tell me where abouts in the workshop manual is the wiring diagram for the fuel pump I would be forever in your debt, not being able to understand any japanese, means I am hopeing that I find a page with the picture of the fuel pump on it, hopefully.........
  24. What about sending the driver/passengers to jenny craig?
