just ringing up metal manufacturers for piping wwork, WTF piping is CHEAP! $18/mtr for 3 inch diametre 1.6mm wall thickness 304 grade stainless and for the bends in 316 grade stainless: 90 degree bend $33.15 (Mandrel) 180 degree bend $64.40 (Mandrel) So bout $100 all up for the steel, dunno how much the silicon joiners be, but definatly not $700 dollars worth!!!!
