  1. Yeah well that wont be happening anytime soon, I just dont have the time But thanks all for the suggestions
  2. Cool sounds plausable, just didnt think it was that probable! The car does sit out in the sun in the summer time and it does get cold at night, as it is only in a carport, not garaged, but still only gets done to ~10oC overnight, so might be it. I dont intend on ripping out nearly the entire rear section f my car just to get to the ATTESSA system if I dont have to. I wouldnt even know what to look for anyway
  3. Well installed it today and it could not have been easier. Took me the whole of 3mins to install, including the time taken to pop the bonnet and zip up a couple of zippy ties. Comes on boost definatly quicker than stock, and holds 10psi beautifully, in each gear. Best bang per buck mod ever!
  4. Howdy Gals & Guys. I have a very interesting issue, my 4WD light comes on intermittantly. I have a 97 Stagea RS Four V which has been converted to Manual and has a Power-FC put into it, amoungst other bits and pieces. Anyway All the work was done before I bought the vehicle. Bought it about a year ago. Now it has been bloody awesome, except as the weather has gone colder and colder I notice that if I give it a squirt when the weather is cold, the 4WD light does go on and I do go into RWD mode, which is worries me a bit. I have checked the fluid level in the ATTESSA system (in the rear) and checked all the fuses, all look fine......? No here is the funny thing, if I leave the car in sunlight for 2-3 hours and make sure that the passenger rear section is in the direct sunlight, (where the ATTESSA ECU is), I dont have this issue... wierd eh. So what i am thinking is that the ATTESSA ECU doesnt like being cold..... WTF?!?!?! That cant be right! So did a search but cant really find any threads that help out so anyone have any ideas what it could be? Thanks! Cy

  6. And I am sure all these "donuts" and "trashing" and "top speed of 70ty billion kph" were all done on private roads, right Brad....
  7. That is freaking AWESOME! Well done dude!
  8. pffft welcome to last year, n00b!
  9. ABHhbahAaH aHh Ah ahaaaaa!! Was my wife BUT We do have a Stagea Spotted thread for a reason http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=53437 My first spotted and I wasnt even in it Typical, the wife was the first to drift it too..........
  10. Please discuss these things in PM's, and keep the for sale threads chatting to a minimum and only about the product being sold, please
  11. Those bezels and inserts look cool, except for the fact that I would Have P R N D 3 2 1 down the middle of my dash, which would be useless to me, and look ghey for me, pity they dont make them for 260RS dashes
  12. Do what I did, trade yours in when you buy a stag, and sluggish, mine had a lot more get-up-and-go than my skyline had BUT mine was very heavily modified when I bought it, which helps Good luck on the search! Oh and manual ftw!
  13. Double its Half... duh!
  14. Looks very nice, does give complete rwd but close enough? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=126694
  15. Yeah that is where my timer/boost gauge is, and I cant see it for shit. I agree with Spammeoff, boost gauge should be as close as possible to the other gauges within the line of sight. Which is why I mounted mine on the top of the steering column, as it really sits well there, easy to read and within line of sight of all other gauges on the dash. I personally would not like A-Pillar gauges, mainly because they are too far away from looking straight ahead for my liking, and being a tall person, they infringe on the amount of space needed for me to exit the car without bashing my head on them, as I have driven a car with an a-pillar 2 gauge setup. DIN gauges are just useless to me as I really do not want to look so far, try to focus and then read the tiny writing and then try to look back to the road ahead.
  16. No it can be discussed, but when someone says one thing, others are bound to jump in and say, "No no no, that is not what happened, blah blah blah..." and I dont want it to end up with me having to moderate posts or users. So it was just a pre-emptive way of stopping that, keep it to PM's and then I dont have to worry bout anything
  17. Maybe this should be a new topic? meh why not, I mean everyone else has started topics for no reasons lately, must be a new craze Why did you REALLY buy a Stagea.? I had 1 R33, that had been flogged and was in desperate need of a gearbox rebuild and/or engine rebuild. The stagea appeared at the right place, right time, right price. I was getting married and the crapped out skyline was going to be needing some big bucks to keep it going, so why not swap a 178rwkw crapped out R33 for a ~200awkw awd? Do you want to drive a stocker? No Do you want to drive a better looking stocker.? No Do you want a Stealth with 200 awkw? I want more than 200awkw, that is for sure! Do you only LOVE Nissans? Basically, but there is enough Cy love for everyone! As Professor Julius Somner-Miller said, "WHY IS IT SO" IS it all EGO EGO EGO? It had thew space I needed for a family and the power to boot, did I need to think about to too hard, no. Have we really run out of things to say? I dont think I have........ have I? I wonder sometimes, in string theory it states that a string propagating in flat 26-dimensional spacetime with coordinates Xm(s,t) can give rise to four different quantum mechanically consistent string theories, depending on the choice of boundary conditions used to solve the equations of motion. The choices are divided into two categories: A. Are the strings open (with free ends) or closed (with ends joined together in a loop)? B. Are the strings orientable (you can tell which direction you're traveling along the string) or unorientable (you can't tell which direction you're traveling along the string)? There are four different combinations of options, giving rise to the four bosonic string theories shown in the table below. Notice in the table that open string theories also contain closed strings. Why is this? Because an open string can sometimes join its two free ends and become a closed string and then break apart again into an open string. In pure closed string theory, the analog of that process does not occur. The bosonic string theories are all unstable because the lowest excitation mode, or the ground state, is a tachyon with M2=-1/a'. The massless particle spectrum always includes the graviton, so gravity is always a part of any bosonic string theory. The vector boson is similar to the photon of electromagnetism or the gauge fields of any Yang-Mills theory. The antisymmetric tensor field carries a force that is difficult to describe in this short space. The strings act as a source of this field.
  18. Can the gain be set to negative, holding the split to the rears, and rendering it basically to rwd?
  19. Nice video too, he he he love to commentary and the self portrait at the end, thanks though!
  20. Yeah that is the one I found on some random SWAT forum, I like the kit, not the wing
  21. Those questions and more would be more apropriate to discuss via means of a PM I think.
  22. Got mine today, have to wait for the weekend though to install it
  23. I dunno, mounting it in the middle of the steering column works for me, it doesnt block anything on the dash, bar a tiny bit of the tacho, mainly 0k-2krpm, so it sits there nice. Once I get a proper holder I'll take some snaps, just looks dodgy as all hell just stuck there with sticky tape
  24. Nice, I am going to buy a holder fo my boost guage eventually to replace the sticky tape currently holding it to the top on my steering column plastic cowling.
  25. Spotted Sciby yesterday, in his blue/green 33
