  1. I dunno, but it the car hot/cold? I bet if you check it after driving it around for a bit and then stopping that the levels would be fine, as that fluid is compressd when it is used so the level would drop......? BUT Then again I really wouldnt have a clue eh, just guessing, wait for Alex or Brad or Gary for an answer from a knowlegable source
  2. Welcome to your new aDdIcTiOn too Once you go Black, you never go back!
  3. The bottle in the rear is your ATTESSA system fluid, (for your 4wd) and the rear washer bottle is the same as the front washer, looking at the enginebay from the front, there should be a yellow cap with a long elongated S shape tube, on the left, near the battery, that is the washer fluid container, well the top of it.
  4. Sorry to burst your bibble Alex, but it looks like there are differences between the S1 and S2 Splitfire Coils..... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=112084&hl=
  5. Sex on wheels.
  6. I just attach them to the post, that way they always stay on SAu
  7. Yaay finnaly a Stagea Coupe.......... I cant begin to try to describe just how utterly and tottaly ghey with a capital H that is! Maybe lose the wing, lose the funky bits that stick out past the rear on the sides, and cut out the rear doors and I reckon it wouldnt look too bad........ Still it certainly is different! And that red van, man that is just beyond words.......
  8. Yeap everything that has been posted here has been posted 50ty billion times in the general section. The plenum alone will only add bling, and the stock plenum is good for 400+hp so it would be a very expensive mod for little or no performance improvement, well at least on a RB25, havent read much on wether this improves performance on RB26..?
  9. In the end I think you would get much more interest if you posted in the general section. I guess it all depends how you change your oil. Personally, I am the biggest klutz, and when I change my oil, I dont have the luxury of a trolly jack, so I only just have enough room underneath to reach in with my hands to undo the sump plug, I always get my hands covered in oil and usually lose the plug into the bucket I catch the oil with. So for ~$50 to save me all that hassle, meh why not? I am just worried because I am so low, would it catch on anything, or be whacked by a high speed bump, or get hooked on something, but they say it is only 10mm longer than the standard plug, and they report they have never had any problems, but that is easy to say, they wont lunch thier engine if mine decides to be the first plug to be ripped off...... Anyway I reckon it is a good idea and you would attract more people by posting this outside the stagea section. Have fun!
  10. If you want a copy then you will have to buy it from JPNZ.........
  11. Yeah I reckon lots of other people other than stagea owners would buy one of these, get the price down to $50 inc del and I reckon you might have a bit of interest Daniel!
  12. So it's like a quick release for your sump drain hole? Looks alright, how much is it? Also might just have to check clearances on lowered cars, but it reckons it only sticks out 10mm further than the stock sump plug....
  13. 120x120 should be the resolution
  14. Resize the pic down to 120x120 first, then use it as your avatar. I dont know what is going on there, but yeah, fuzzy as all hell!
  15. Yeah it was 8oC overnight last week, I dunno about Gympie, but up here that is COLD!
  16. I am not sure, wife has the car atm, so cant run out and check. But right at the back of the stock plenum at the top there should be a outlet, on both RB25DET's I've owned I've used it as a boost gauge feed. If you have your stock BC hooked up, why not just use those lines?
  17. Have you got a stock plenum? If so there is an outlet right at the back, you could use that for the pressure side if your piping doesnt have the outlet.
  18. No I dont, might look into bleeding it properly, I am sure there must be instructions somewhere on SAu to do it Also what type/grade of fluid should I be putting into it? I just assumed that it was just power steering fluid? But I have not had to top it up at all yet, as fluid level in it sits nicely between Min and Max. Should I buy some and fill it up to Max?
  19. Yeah bit if you buy a proper CAI box, like the ones maxx sells here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=57642 Then it is totally enclosed and secured, I fail to see how they would be able to defect that? I know, I know, cops will defect anything they can bloody well like, so I guess it would be less likely. Still all depends on what type of cop you get, what you were doing at the time and wether the officer has met thier quota for the shift I guess.
  20. Cruise from Rocky to Yeppoon! WHO'S IN!?!?
  21. Yeah I was thinking of putting it there in the corner of the windscreen, but I just didnt like it over there, so just ran a tiny bit more tubing and wiring and whacked it on the steering column and prefeered it there so left it there. Mine doesnt have a cup or anything, just the boost guage with a single bit of normal sticky tape holding it down very proffessional look I'll go get a gauge holder for it, one day.....
  22. Yes it does come out in a single turbo VQ25DET with a 6sp manual trans, mmMMmmMMmmMMmmm not bad! I wonder if AUTech are going to make a 260/M35 version....? With all the bits bolting on to the M35 that bolt onto a 300ZX I doubt it would be hard to whack another turbo on and put a tough drivetrain in.....
