Got my Diff rebuilt, biiiiig shout out to Martin at Tas Mobile Mech for getting it done for me! Also to Dave.TAS for helping source the parts! Here is the old vs new shot hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, not good! Fresh Diff felt amazing though and I managed to rip some pretty good skids on Saturday at the Time attack. I think the 3rd one is my Fav Might have to get a print and hang it up at work to remind me why I go there every day. Results from the day were, 6th in Drift and 2nd in Time attack (Race Class) Casualties were, another radiator hose and the loom that goes up in the front guard so now non of my accessories work Managed to test the endurance of my car though, lasted a whole Time attack session, like 30 mins easy, water temp didn't get above 90 I was doing like 2 hot laps and 4 cool down laps then two hot laps, ect ect. It was a really special day, I just wish more skylines were there to share the experience Next time though! all you assholes have to come play too!

Super Sprints is 4 cars on the track at a time, starting from the grid, fastest lap wins, you get like 4 laps. Time attack, the track is open for like half an hour and you have to knock out a lap in that time with as many pit stops as you want. Unless the event says something like (CLOSED TO CLUB) then any member of any CAMS affiliated car club can participate.

Scratch that, it's back on and I'm helping organize it now. Same price, still no CAMS licence. Who's keen? Need as many people as possible to make this work. If we get enough interest we might do hill climbs and super laps too.

Hey guys, there is a Gymkhana event this weekend at Baskerville raceway. Here is a quote from the organiser. This is the perfect entry level event for drivers of all skills and cars of all calibers. NO CAMS LICENCE REQUIRED. Only $100 entry. And if you enter in your skyline, I'll make you a sandwich on the day, doesn't get any better than that.

I reckon I'll be Drifting and Time attacking, should be a rich full day.

Hey Guys, Just thought I'd let you know of the Time Attack event that's not to far from now. It's on March 17th. If you're entering, arrive at 8am. CAMS licence ($110) and Club membership ($50) are available on the day. Entry is $110, which is very cheap for an event like this. The way that it works is like this. There are three Time attack classes, Street, Race and Open Street is for any regular guy with a car that's road registered who wants to have a go. All you'll need is a Helmet, Fire extinguisher securely mounted in the car, blue triangle with 150mm sides indicating the location of the battery. Tyres are restricted to street tyres only which have a treadwear rating of 140 or higher. Race is for Targa\GT Class Super Series spec cars, running with Semi-slick tyres that are DOT approved. Open is for those crazy highly modified cars with full slicks and open wheelers. I know the classes are a little muddy but if you have any questions feel free to ask away. I really hope you guys are keen on this because we've created this event with you guys in mind!
