  1. Yeah just what fit best. It's kind of long and thin rather than square and I was moving it to the front guard rather then in front of the radiator so it had to go in landscape instead of portrait. I would have had to get longer hoses to be like 2 so I didn't bother. I have a trans fluid temp gauge in now and it does not overheat on the track.
  2. In terms of how they work or how they connect or what? They are quite different.
  3. I had a walbro in there which fitted fine and wasn't too noisy but at 228rwkw we took the return line off and pointed it into a can whilst the car was on the dyno. At full noise the return flow reduced to nothing more than a few drips. Not even a trickle! The chances of blowing up my engine were high with that kind of flow so out it came. Also at idle and low revs the pressure was way too high, like an extra bar too high. This pushed the AFR's off the scale. I then put an R34 GTR pump in and had none of these problems. It is noisy though so I might pull it out and revisit my mounting efforts.
  4. Still waiting on $$ confirmation sorry guys. Sumanator - bring it out mate. You wont be the first person with an RB30E at one of our track days. Robbie, I was wondering if you might come. Should be fun.
  5. Holy crap man. I'm thinking someone has managed somehow to get a set of keys. Previous owner, workshop, something... sux big time.
  6. My trans cooler is set up as 3 but stock it was 1.
  7. 350cc stock. Interesting bass.
  8. I say $200-300
  9. I think some people are confusing the CGC highflow of an R34 or VG30 turbo which will get you 250rwkw no probs and a GCG highflow of an R33 turbo which will get you 220-240rwkw
  10. You smell silv.
  11. Deadline is when all places are filled but it would really help us out if everyone was paid at least 3 weeks before the day.
  12. They been out for some time so don't hold your breath. I say get an r32 crank and get Greg at www.proengines.com.au to put a collar on it. Cheapest option and will get the job done.
  13. BWA, you've already paid for most stuff you would need including the licence so it will be much much much cheaper this time round. Entry fee, petrol, food, maybe an oil change afterwards which wilch will happily fulfil. haha I'm so funny. DIF, it will be great to get another girl out there. We're slowly evening up the numbers. Entry fee + $85 for L2S licence (which is an annual fee not every time), about $30 for the fire extinguisher or borrow one off someone, then get your car ready and race. Best for me if you all pay CAMS directly. You have to be a member of SAU NSW Club to get one. CAMS will check with us when they go over your form. Details are all on the form linked to in the first post. Handbrake or no handbrake - wont change much either way Ando, I know I said it's a safe track but please try and stay on the track!
  14. I don't think it counts when you log in as someone else. We can't tell it's not just trolling.
  15. Nice one. I painted mine black.
  16. You mean power and an air compressor don't you? There is an air compressor at the end of the line of garages but has nothing connected to it.
  17. You need a boost gauge to keep an eye on the boost. Changes to your exhaust and to a lesser extent your intake can increase the boost.
  18. Unless you break it getting it off I'd reuse it.
  19. I have no problems but seriously you should be able to make the pics under 100k and then you should have no issues. If you are technically illiterate and you have windows xp you can right click a pic then send to email recipient then choose 'make my pictures smaller' then you can save them wherever and post them.
  20. What car is this for?
  21. Sam very keen to have you there. James - yes it's a big big day out but it's so fun you wont care. Paul - Of course I'll be there. I'm still tossing up whether to do my secret mod before then or not so I may be able to keep up with you... we will have to wait and see.
  22. I didn't like what I heard at Keas so I ended up going to Mike at MV Automatics in Adelaide. I honestly believe Mike is the most knowledgeable person with regard to Jatco's in Australia and discounting the engineers that designed the things right up there in the world. He gets jobs to do from all over the world (was building one for a Russian customer at the same time he was doing mine). The only thing is, he's in adelaide.
  23. Let me clarify. I have seen a couple of their dvd's and there has been police action in hassling car owners on them. Then this event had more police hassles. I'm not saying they brought them or are dodgy, I am saying the kind of things they go to for this segment of their dvd are the same kind of things cops go to so I will therefore make sure I don't go just in case.
  24. Yeah the whole assembly slides straight up. The bracket is zinc plated steel stan...
