  1. Oz, it's looking like I will be unable to make this track day. My secret mod is still not done I'm going overseas a few days after the track day so I've got to save every cent at this stage. Also I have to go down to Canberra to drop my dog off to my parents to look after on the day of the trackday so I will drop in to see you all just after lunch I'd say. I guess we'll have to save it for Eastern Creek which should be fun.

  6. I thought I had read the latest issue and there was an aristo in it but it was just stock and got test driven that's all. Maybe there is a new issue out.

  10. 5w60 is thin when cold but pretty damn thick when hot. GCG do charge $1950 for a highflow but you get 10% off if you are an SAU NSW Club member. Membership is $60. You do the math. A second hand GTR pump is a cheap way to go and will cover you. Need injectors to take full advantage of the turbo but you will probably be putting more boost than 14psi in it if you want to run mid 12's. Also need to know how to drive.

  14. I have an ABS diff ($350), the control arm ($100) and power steering pump ($100) in Sydney.
  15. Put it up to 12-12 psi on the street and enjoy.
  16. The NEO engine uses 3 ribbed fan belts to run various ancilaries. You can get them from Nissan if you want to but as long as you have these numbers you can get them from Repco or anywhere else. 1) Alternator 2) Air con 3) Power steering I pulled off: 1) 4PK890 2) 4PK910 3) 4PK865 I think that the 4PK part tells you the thickness and ribbing size or something like that. The last three digits are nothing more than the length of the belt right the way round. So the top one is 890mm around. I put back on: 1) 4PK890 2) 4PK915 3) 4PK865 At the time I was worried about getting the numbers exactly right but now that I've done the job I realise that there is plenty of adjustment in all three so getting belts roughly near to the right length will be good enough no worries.

  20. Mik has about 370rwkw with a 3" system. I know mine is only 255 but it's certainly no restriction at that level.
  21. I'd say it's much easier on it than a track day but I have an auto, in a manual you have clutch wear to consider.
