  1. i've been using them for ages. After the last upgrade they stopped working but then started again a month or so later. Sometimes you want to use the same pic in more than one thread so you just upload it once and link it twice. I'm only ever linking to SAU stored images.
  2. October 8 at EC. I will be putting a thread up in a day or two.
  3. Here's mine. ECR033 has dropped about a second off his time listed up there. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=40605
  4. 1 same 2 same I tried them once. Didn't realise they had someone who spoke english!1hehe ARC have english speaking people. They are 18 year old computer nerds. Really know their stuff but have very poor communication skills.
  5. The exponential point is that you might get an extra 6 months out of a higher end system but is it worth $2k for instance? What Adrian is saying is that he sells computers for more than the aforementioned places but in return he gives customer service. I do too but my opinion is that it's horses for courses. How much customer service do you want? Tell us and we'll tell you where to go.
  6. Rather than starting a new thread... I haven't been getting email notifications for months (since the upgrade a few months ago I think) I've checked every setting and had Merli go through them with me but still no emails came. It might have something to do with me changing my registered email address for here just a few days before the upgrade. Anyway, now I seem to be getting emails for every single new thread made in For sale parts for some bizarre reason. As you can imagine that's a lot of spam. thanks. adam.
  7. Yeah I've been using ARC for years. They also have a shop right next door to ADVAN in Silverwater which is usually pretty empty. They still don't suffer people who don't know much about computers gladly but they are fairly cheap, have pretty good stock levels and not too long to wait, but again saturdays they are pretty busy. You can pre order your pc on their website though. Also I would advise against going too high end cos computers are priced exponentially. Also I would stay away from Dell.
  8. No stock wheels sorry. Only got the dump pipe.
  9. That's ok for stock boost. Next time you will get a 1:17 then inch down with practice.
  10. Yup Adam was putting down some good times there, not to mention Ando and Oz.
  11. Yup we knew about that one but we should be in there again soon for the dyno day. I've seen a proof of the article already, just don't know when they are publishing it.

  13. That happens in my dad's jackaroo. I think he said the master cylinder needed rebuilding. He bled it and it improved but he still hasn't fixed it fully.
  14. A mate installed on of these on his wrx and it was noisier. It turned out to that he had bolted it up too tight.
  15. I often think a second hand replacement of the original engine is the better way to go unless, as mentioned above, you intend on a full rebuild at some stage anyway. When I blew my engine the cheapest second hand NEO I could find was about $3500 from memory and that had problems with it too. (Cracked plenum) Now I'm selling a NEO with ECU and loom for $2200 and getting no takers. (same one as stan mentioned for those reading) If that was available to me at that price when I blew mine that would have been what I did but it wasn't so to me $3500 for a NEO with an issue or two vs fully rebuilt for $5-6000 I thought why not.
  16. No way. I usually get 300k's to a tank. Except this one time, at band camp, I got 97k's to a tank!!!
  17. I can't seem to view that file sorry. Please email it to me: bob at estc dot net dot au
  18. my guess. Well since you know your way around a car I say a second hand RB20 for not much money will be cheap. Get a tune after you install it. Failing that I think an RB25 upgrade will do the job.
  19. All that is is white boot polish in an applicator bottle.
  20. I would say Greg at Autosport Engineering will give you the best combination of price and quality.
  21. Yes we do $100 plus post.
  22. I'd like to order one.
  23. It's not labour hours, it's the cost of the product that goes up to allow for it. And besides, all that would happen is that they would just make sure they only used quality suppliers which is why the quality workshops use brand name parts rather than dodgy china crap. They are happy for internet sellers to sell that stuff cos they know they have a high success rate with the brand name stuff. Ie; it just works. Anyway, Aaron should come on here and give us the final part of the story shortly. Everything was sorted out and there was a complicating issue which hasn't been mentioned already. All that has happened is that he just found out that owning a GTR isn't cheap.
