that is pretty decent my mate just moved to america... he told me last night he got caught speeding, doing 60mph in a construction zone (usually 60mph but down to 35 because of constructoin).. he said it was a 440USD fine....plus points(or however it works) OR he can do a day course on safe driving or some crap which costs him 100 bucks, looses no points, and doesn't have to pay the 440 fine.. now that is a good idea, much better than our 'he's doing 3km over the speed limit - WHAT A SYCO QUICK TAKE HIS LICENSE'

JagR33 - thanks, do you mind if i ask how much you paid for your Xenons and how much you think i should be paying approx? When you say i have to shim the tabs off the connecter? what do you mean exactly? Did you do it yourself?

Thinking of trying to find a pair for my 1995 Series 1 R33 GTR... Are they a straight swap? whats involved in swapping them over? Has anyone done it? Physically do they fit the same as normal Series 1 headlights? What about wiring? thanks

powerFC isn't needed in stage 1 - im running ~270rwkw without a powerfc, but it is definatly needed for stage2 meshmesh - where are you getting your clutch from? how much if you don't mind me asking

yep thats what insurance is for - they will either fix it or replace it.... with optus insurance if you have had the insurance without a claim for longer than 24 months there is no excess, if 12 months i think 50$ excess, if < 12 months i think 75$ excess

rs73 - yeah i could paint it , but i'm pretty picky, it would be hard to match the stock colour exactly - but i may try it vendetta - if its the part i want in good cond then sure, its not the one in the dash (above the mirror adjustment) its above the vent in the dash, i fyou look from top down into your windscreen, thats the one has anyone got a photo of a dash i can point it out on ? the vent just comes in and out without having to undo anything at all

I'm interested in how to clean that out as well - sometimes mine gets moisture/condensation in the passenger side rear indicator

E36 and E46 is the model numbers, like year E36 M3 94-99 E46 M3 2000-current M3's are a nice car, i love the E46... i was looking at a E36 M3 while looking at GTR's... i figured since i'm still young i should go for the loud non practical car - GTR and i love it I figure once i've grown up, and after i've had my 34GTR the M3/M5 will be on my list

I am after ========= FOUND ======== - Passenger side door handle trim (black plastic big that goes around door handle) - GOT FROM JETGTS - THANKS - Standard speedo instrument cluster plastic cover from in front of the clear plastic... this peice i'm after sits between the full plastic dash surround and the speedo instrument cluster - not sure how to explain it - mine is painted silver and i want it back to stock (Black?) - GOT FROM JETGTS - THANKS - Drivers side TOP plastic vent, not the one in the front dash, the one above that... mesh- thanks, what do you have done to your car in the way of handling? how does it handle?

i think this will differe from state to state.. but definatly in Melbourne, skylines draw attention from cops.... about a week or two after i had my car, i got pulled over around toorak rd... cop had a wrx pulled over was just finishing with him i drove past he caught me and pulled me over... checked over my car, license etc.. pop the bonnet, couldn't find anything, he said that and i quote "these types of cars you will get pulled over if you come this way on a friday or saturday night" (it was a sunday night anyways) i think its a bit harsh.... but he wasn't a complete dick to me... but he did have the attitude 'smart ass until proven otherwise' i was polite to him etc.. and he started to not be such a dick to me ....

it should heal over in a couple of hours as far as i know. haven't had mine out for that long, but had it out for 30-60mins and i can feel it has started to close in when i put it back in...
