Both can be connected. I got one friend with an R32 with a HKS one and a stock one connected. This is how it works for him. When he drives the car normally the stock BOV works normally and there isnt enough pressure to open the HKS one. When he full on floors it then the pressure is higher and then the HKS BOV vents the pressure. If everything is connected i dont see y it wouldnt work. look foward to the pics

yeah i think replacing it would be the way to go, i dont think i would recommend cutting it off and blocking the pipe. Then after you take it off you can sell it along with the pipe

ive seen the pictures, the stock bov is not in the stock position.

Take it down to a mechanic to tell you what it is. Might be worth more than 600 bucks. Correction will be worth more than 600 bucks

Its more of a worriy when people buy the skyline straight away when they get their P's. As for me its a little different. I have driven the skyline for a year already and i learnt to respect its power and how to drive properly. I know how NOT to drive it becasue i know the slightest bit of acceleration can make it lose control (lost it on a round(got it back though thank god) about once when i pressed the accelerator 1mm more then i should have). Ive said this shitloads of times, its the atitude of the driver and not the car. You can kill yourself in anything you drive, it just depends on how you drive it. Cheers

I have a 96 Series 2 and a HKS BOV stalls the hell out of it (This might be caused by my car being modified with an aftermarket Turbo and stuff like that). I just got fed up with it turnin off i just put back the stock unit. Ive seen some r33 that do run the ssqv without stalling, but most of them a quite stock. Cheers

I bought a Karcher unit without the wheels for around $200, they are not that cheap but work fine. A little too fine for me since the damn thing ripped paint off BOTH my sideskirts. Shits me up the wall, but its good for washing the pannels . Keep away from bodykits at close range.

I have a POD filter on my car. Dont think it has any influence on the Blow off valve. The stock setup is just putting it on the stock pipe. Making sure the Plumb back pipe is connected and that the smaller pipe from the BOV to the Manifold is also connected. And it should be fine.
