http://www.skylinesa...d__pid__4756582 ^^link to Rev210's guide on the mod i did.^^ just say i floor it, up i hit 3k rpm and feel boost come in then the power stops (foot still planted) but i still see boost being made in gauge. it runs 11-12 psi, dump valve/bov is a tiny bit too tight so if i release throttle while at a boost reading of under 7psi it flutters. any boost over 9 it "vents"/releases into the recirc plumbing. when i drove it it didnt vent once. whel i was at traffic light i revved it and it vented but while driving i get the issue with just flutter.

HELP! Just done Rev210's 5min $5 Intake pipe mod to my R33. took it out for a drive when i finished and it drove shitty. Held boost fine but wasnt going anywhere. before mod it drove fine. Any help is immensely appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

took off ic piping from turbo and return flow to get better access to rubber induction pipe, unplugged and took out afm and pod, cut induction pipe and inserted 3inch diameter/12cm long mild steel pipe, placed piece of pipe that was cut off back on and both side are secured with metal hose clamps, plugged in and insterted afm and pod back on, put ic piping back on. Just some extra info: battery was disconnected when this was undertaken, Rev210 says to remove whole induction pipe but i left it in because the clamp for the plumb back recirc pipe was impossible to get off so i cut it while it was in the engine bay. **EDIT** Link to Rev210's guide. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/173019-rev210s-5min-5-intake-pipe-mod-for-your-stageaskyline/page__mode__threaded__pid__4756582

fml. did Rev210's 5min $5 intake pipe mod and i just took my car for a little drive and it drove like shit. held boost fine but didnt go. before mod it went fine. HELP!!!!!

went to exhaust place today to get some pipe for intake, they noticed i had a factory system still on (is factory but decat with varex copy twin tip) but because he recognized my old man (did exhaust for his merc) he asked me if I wanted to get a full 3" turbo back system with hi-flow cat made up and installed for $1k as "mates rates". This good deal?

I live in Roxy, literally 5 mins from Cragieburn station. No hail If ther was hektic hail my old man wouldve skitzed it i garaged my skyline instead of his merc for induction pipe making. i shit my pants when i heard hail was coming. lucky tho

Hey Erin, welcome to sau Blitz would be heaps expensive/hard to find. if your really want carbon, get your bonnet wrapped in dry carbon looking vinyl, im getting my bonnet and maybe even boot done pretty soon It lasts around 6 years and costs only a fraction of real carbon bonnet, so its great for a temporary fix for your carbon craving and like Marc stated, the lack of power your experiencing is probs your engine compression, the factory rb25de runs higher compression then an rb25det. would luv 2 c pic tho, i absolutely heart bayside blue

usdm spec ive always had a thing for the older ef civics they just need to be done right.

Refers to the spring in the BOV, hard makes moar tension therefore making the bov harder to open. Soft is pretty much self explanatory after i just explained what hardening does.
