I just got off the phone to Vic Roads and they say that they are unable to say if it will be legal or not . . . . They referred me to Vehicle Standards Information 24 . . . I am now throwing my hands in the air not knowing what to purchase, I do not want to purchase a trailer with electric brakes and spend the extra money if I dont have to

What is the break away system? Does it have anything to do with the electric brakes? If the trailer currently has 2000KG legal capacity with front axle hydraulic drums can I had the breakaway system to the trailer for a higher legal towing capacity.

I have found a few trailers but having a few problems trying to find one that can legally tow my R33 GTR . . . Aggregate Trailer Mass is 2000KG Axle Load Capacity is 2000KG (Dual Axle Trailer) Tare Weight of Trailer is 620KG That means that the trailer can only tow 1380KG legally right? An R33 GTR weighs more than 1380KG so I need a trailer with a higher aggregate trailer mass, am I right in thinking this??

I am building a track R33 GTR and needing some advice on turbo choice. I currently have twin dash 5s on the motor which will be going into the car which currently makes about 350awkw. I am considering going for a single turbo setup, most probably looking at getting the GT35R with .86 exhaust. Are there any pros or cons with going for the single set up or should I just stay with my current one? Also what manifolds should I be looking at if I was to go single. Cheers in advance

I am looking at getting a new car and will need to be able to tow my R33 GTR, has anyone had any experience with the new Kia Sorento. I would be looking at getting the Platinum in diesel. 2000KG towing capacity There is also a G6E turbo coming up soon at work (ex company car) which has a heavy duty tow bar. 2300KG towing capacity Would any of these cars be good for towing?? I am needing to purchase a new car cover for my R33 GTR as it will be sitting outside for a couple of weeks. I have been looking at the Autotencia products, either the Storm Guard Fully Waterproof Car Cover or the Evolution 3000 Water Resistant Car Cover.. Does anyone have either of these?
