GHEY?! Why come in here, single out sydneykid, ask for his opinion then go ****ing nutz when he doesnt agree with you? Some people like torquey track suited power Some people like peakey drag suited power Its a compromise like everything else in this fun game we play. It doesnt matter what someone else thinks of your dyno graph / quart mile times / turbo / haircut / makeup as long as you enjoy your car.

Anyone waiting on a Whiteline suspension pack
raist60 replied to craz0's topic in Suspension, braking and tyres
For anyone interested I have found a supplier for Koni adjustables for $883.33 front and rear. They are suitable for the whiteline kit according to Whiteline. So i have combined the works package minus shocks with the konis and it should be good. Top Performance - 03 9873 1722 Good bunch, I ordered my shocks this morning and had them by lunchtime, no bullshit waiting around with people lieing to me and telling me stories about noone having shocks, quick and easy. -

Sure have. -
The injector thats pictured has the commodore plug on it
-
They are the same as VN commodore injectors plugs (I dare say ive seen these plugs on a ****LOAD of injectors) i said that before.
-
They are the same as commodore injectors as i said in my post.

Two things spring to mind. 1. People knowingly moved into houses next to a racetrack and end up complaining. haha, and humans are intelligent 2. Make a closed pipe, dB restriction rule. Majority of street racers have relatively road legal cars. Only two possibilities i understand the noise pollution issues of sandown. But they arent really insurmountable problems imho.
-
If we're so tiny why so much publicity and police attention/resources? I thought it was a matter of public safety not what we want. Why not just open up sandown? Is that so terribly difficult to manage? Its close to all eastern suburb racers, its a nice track and its hardly used. Im simply stating the fact that cops and govt fags seem so insistent upon ****ing over anyone with a nice car rather than work on the cause of the issues. Ie. Nowhere to race? What do they think people are just gonna throw away their cars and forget racing coz they dont like it. cops ass. /my 2 cents

I bet everyone whos taking the 'drags and driving fast is bad mmkay' stance has never done high speeds in their line on the street before... pfft No offense to the choir boys in here but a nice blast along an empty freeway/highway at night vs another nice car is bloody fun and im sure no-one can deny that. The hype thats been surrounding the "illegal drags" is ****ing ridiculous. Calder is too expensive too infreqent and generally just shit house. Most people cant be bothered driving 140km to a strip either. So whats the natural bloody alternative, people on the street. Number 1 the way these media dickheads make our the drags you'd expect to go there and find a demolition derby with the general public having to duck for cover and rescue their children and grandparents blah blah blah. What crap the street runs are held in ****ing industrial zones late at night with no Joe Public around. If the cops/vic gov. had so much ****ing regard for public safety and a genuine interest in getting the racing off the street they'd help provide a place for people to go that doesnt required 4 tanks of fuel to get there.

The fast you bleed the HIGHER the boost man.

mounting powerfc hand controller in 33 gtst ?
raist60 replied to DJ_L3ThAL's topic in Forced Induction Performance
It will fit and be very visible from left of steering column without getting in way of panel. -
Think about the physics dude. It has nothing to do with turbo size its to do with engine flow. I am also fairly confident GCG know their shit, so why is everyone questioning them?
-
Provides you with adjustable base fuel pressure, which increases as boost goes up ( Hence the term rising rate regulator) . Good for getting more fuel into motor without going bigger injectors if you pump can handle it. If your mixutres are fine its a waste of money. Also Malpassis whilst being very common and cheap are really quite shit.

GT35 Housings dont need adapter plates its a t3 flange. All they need is a spacer coz comp hits manifold
-
Its 38 mate. Also no adjustable cam gears.
-
GCG Would class a GT25/30 as a GT25 Turbo using GT30 wheels. All they get thats built is the CHRA the housings are then swapped around to designate the turbo...
-
Garret australia actually use different designations. All are in the tech section of GCG website. www.gcg.com.au

Grim: Yeah it needs to be welded onto an existing exhaust, its probably 10 cms short of cat. Raza: Hi Flow is a pretty shady term, it flowed enough for 250rwkw and its 3inch. You can make your own deduction from that. -

Grim: Your local exhaust place will be able to do it for 30/40 bucks probably, they all have 3 inch flanges suitable for this cat im sure. YBSLO4: Im certain that the 040 will be fine for that power level. 044 flows enough for 600-650hp its very big.
