  1. Possibly looking for any VAC work students, too? I'm glad there's so many engineer(s/ing students) ... can help me with my homework /eng talk --------------- OT of careers, future career seems so far away to me right now (just feel like I'm going to be in Uni forever xD), even though in reality it (hopefully) isn't.
  2. I actually do a double with arts, so I get my dose of girls from there. Generally a pretty good ratio, 2-5 guys out of a 15-20 people tute etc. so far. Yay for variety Edit: Btw that's some hs you went to bro, dat ratio!
  3. Haha they're indeed a rare species in eng. In first year I remember playing spot the girls in eng lectures... surprisingly tough game But nah there's a few about though from time to time, though. Just when you think about the sheer number of guys, it's not a wonderful ratio xD.
  4. As for installation, it's not too much of a mission, but yes, you will have to take out your rear seats and maybe parcel shelf. Unless there is a way without, but I had to when I did mine, lol. Parcel shelf coming off may just depend on your tools though, I couldn't get nice angle and strength in with ones I had, hence need for it to come off, but maybe you can get away without.
  5. ^ Standard engineering fun times... ... But end of the day, even if some things may be a complete mindf**k etc, other things (or maybe even the same things) are just pretty cool.
  6. damn, this is the saturday i'm working! any chance you'll be doing this again next saturday as well?
  7. If I can get a job... ! LOL Haha yes, this. Dunno about getting knocked back from mech jobs though (granted I haven't applied for grad positions, still got 2.5yrs left since double). Most people from companies I have talked to have told me that while obviously it is/can be a factor, they're not too fussed; and it's more the person themselves. Of course when it really comes down to grad positions, will have to see (as apparently your mates have gotten knocked back, gg). But yeah, I was talking to Holden purchasing program manager, and he's a chemical engineer by trade iirc. Luckily for me I actually don't mind / would like to head overseas . Maybe I should double major in another language... like german... hmm... --------------------- OT Damn only a broken wrist and leg
  8. Sounds about right to me, I think I get a bit less than that; probably between 400-450 when the light comes on (can drive around with the light on though, obviously). I think I'm averaging 12L/100km or so... I pump 98 only. Not great . Think should really be able to get 10-12. I granny around all the time as well, so dunno haha.
  9. Hehe nah bro; I do aerospace! There's a fair amount of cross-over with mechanical, as you can imagine, though.
  10. standard friday morning of eng hate
  11. have slept in mine before, notbad.jpg
  12. Successful field test?
  13. Was told 3x small chips = $3, 1x large chips = $2.95. But like mentioned above, maccas does vary a bit from place to place... let us know results after your 'field research' -- Re: iphone, still gotta wait for some more indepth hands-on reviews and see it for myself irl. My iphone 4 has been decent to me (had a shattered screen for a while though ). Wouldn't mind switching to android either, though. Will have to see. /Need moar info.
  14. Interdasting. Maybe I'll throw in 3 small chips, too (have recently been informed that you get double the amount of chips compared to 1x large this way... Haven't verified it myself yet though). And maybe grape fanta. Because i'm generous. But mostly because it's awesome. This man. He knows. ---/ In other news, thoughts on new iPhone 5? Had a look at some rumours and what not before sleep... Then looked at the actual release and a lot were bang on lol, gg leaks. Time to choose a new phone soon...
  15. Not sure if I can live up to Tony's prowess... ..... Will report back with results... if you know what I mean...
