Build Thread: Adam's Nissan Stagea C34
Run-It-Hard replied to Run-It-Hard's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
With my recent decision on parting out the Skyline, I’ve not got a chance to do what was destined for the Stagea many moons ago. The original plan for the Stagea was to make it a cool street car that I could take to the track and flog. Thought out mods included manual conversion, ECU + tune and basic boltons … a set of wheels and a shit-ton of low. I was half way there, cosmetically the car was perfect and I had all the parts ready to go for the manual conversion. Until I suddenly lost interest in it. I started looking around, finding a more “suitable” drift car. That’s when I saw the blue demon child that I ended up purchasing. I ended up parting out the Stagea completely, and for a little while I even had it up for sale. Moving on just over a years time and we are back at the beginning, so to speak. This time my original plan will be fulfilled. Without wasting time, I started to hunt for parts. I found a set of Tein super flex wagon coilovers that look to be in great condition. I’m really hoping these will get me nice and low. Judging by the shock length and adjustablility I should be able to get the Stagea licking pavement. While doing a small order, I figured I’d order another NA grille, these look so much better than the RS4/honeycomb grille. I absolutely loved the clutch in my MX5 and that just happened to be a 409D made my Ogura (ORC). So I figured to get another ORC clutch for the Stagea, I picked this 409D at a very good price. It has plenty of meat too! That’s all that’s coming from Japan at the moment. Though I do have my eye on a set of wheels that would suit the wagon to a tee. My deadline of the November Matsuri still exists, and if anything it should be less hassle getting the Stagea there then the Skyline would have been. Bring it on! Rekindling old love -

So I've nearly stripped my R33 Skyline down to a shell. I figured now is a good time to put it up for grabs! It's a 1993 Series 1 R33 Skyline, factory turbo and all that jazz. It left the factory in Burgandy, but the car was painted in a colour similar to bayside blue a few years ago. It has just run out of rego (3rd August). So it's quite easy to get registered (no defects or anything against it). It does not have an engine, gearbox, diff, R33 brakes (will have stagea brakes supplied) and other misc parts (some interior pieces etc). What it does include is: Wire tucked engine loom Done by Dahtone Racing, the loom is completely hiden in the engine bay, re-routes the fusebox to the interior and tucks part of the loom above the drivers side wheel arch. Nissan Stagea rear subframe This completely ELIMINATES HICAS! no lock bars and utilises toe rods instead. It also extends rear track 40mm total (20mm each side). Origin 20mm fibreglass front guards A little beaten up, but close enough. URAS Type 4 front bumper Don't have an OEM item (pictures show URAS sides and rear too, will include for extra $200) Modified front reo designed to work with the Dahtone racing short intercooler kit, custom made for this car (intercooler kit extra $300). Most interior pieces Standard seats front and rear, dash and door trims are all there, Most boot trim too. Some misc pieces missing and carpet removed. All in all, the shell will need a bit of TLC to get it looking tip top, there are a few blotches of sikaflex around it, due to the PO having a aftermarket sideskirts, pods etc. The paint is in good condition as you'd expect though. Price: $1500 or nearest offer. If the price is right I might even chuck in some spares that haven't sold yet. Located in Liverpool region. P.S the car is currently on jackstands, and will be rolling within a few weeks. If you are super keen on getting it ASAP I can make this happen quicker. Aditional photos avaliable on request. Hit me up! Adam.

Oh yes, got some gear on the way from Japan. Plan is: OEM looking engine bay bigger turbo + supporting mods to make a lazy 250kw (or thereabouts) Good suspension 2 way LSD manual half cage (probably next year) I'm hoping to be able to get everything bar the cage in the car before November. The Stagea will Re-debut at Raceline's Wakefield Matsuri. Can't wait to slide it again! -

Not that I know of dude, AFAIK DAYZ is an external company that supplied the bodykits? Good to hear! They can look amazing with a decent set of wheels and low. I'll probably do it myself, just haven't been bothered (I used to be in the guard rolling game). Grant's Stagea has been an inspiration to me, funnily enough I've delt with him for a few years. Back when I owned my MX5, he had purchased one in the US and all that jazz. I think he's still got it, has a V8 in it now though.. Crazy fella. -

Adam's R33 Skyrine

Yeah it's a shame. Would of been a great car when/if it was ever finished and ran longer then a day  Cheers mate, it's been a hard desicion to make, but yeah just feels like I'm pissing money in the wind. If the second engine didn't go out the way it did it'll probably be sitting in the garage in one piece still.
