  1. ok we were looking around 400kw. id rather not mess with a good thing if not necessary
  2. after some advice, fitting a known good r34 motor to a gtr, is it advisable to change to arp rod bolts without changing bearings? are the factory bolts a weakness? Id rather not disturb the short motor but if it will be ok to keep the bearings and retourque without taking the caps off im happy to. Also running 264 cams , whats the thinnest head gasket I can use to bump compression up?
  3. does anyone know if a nur n1 engine sump is the same as a regular rb26? some say it has more capacity but cant find any concrete evidence.
  4. I fitted an r33 cat back to an s14 last year. Had to shorten and change angle slightly where it bolted to cat. So would work in reverse for u. Won't bolt on.
  5. Im after an after market genuine hks or trust exhaust manifold for for either rb25 or rb26, I know the head flanges are different. T03 or T04 type, cast preferred will consider tubular. my number is o434986622 thanks.

  8. That's what I'm thinking. I've got the engine out now to fix a bearing issue and do some more upgrades while I'm at it.
  9. Don't listen to the knockers. I fitted a turbo to an efi patrol. AFRs were fine up to 6 psi. Like has been said let the AFM do the work for u. Horses for courses....
  10. My built 26 compression came up as 180 psi dry on all 6. Is this reading high as I've been told most stock or built ribs are around 160 psi. The gauge I used reads correctly. The test method is of no issue. Do u guys think my engine was built for higher compression as it has dash 10 turbos ?

  16. I've looked through the rb26 thread but can't find much. I have a new Borg Warner s300 . The measurements as follows. Compressor inducer 59 mm exducer 84mm . Turbine inducer 74mm exducer 64mm. What will this be like on a 2.8 stroker? Currently running dash 10s on a 2.6. Any help greatly appreciated.

  20. selling 93 gtst turbo auto sedan, un regod, great engine, runs very well, has paint coming off in some areas and little rust near front strut towers. Straight body, 400r front bar that needs repairing, front mount intercooler, 3 inch exhaust, lsd. couple of windows don't move, could be motors or switches, steering wheel is tatty. 149000kms, timing belt changed at 132000. tinted windows, lowered Great project or drifter etc. $3000 with r34 gtr wheels or $1500 byo wheels ph o479o95327 location 2285 nsw .
