Take the gear knob off and gently pull the gearboot surround upwards until it unclips......that will reveal 2 screws. After removeing those 2 screws.simply pull on the stereo surround. It will unclip.

It is an absolute pleasure to drive.......obviously it has been set up for Drift......so other than the stiff susp. etc, the vehicle itself is great. Has plenty of power for what i use it for. Not that it gets driven all that much. Half roll cage will be fitted soon, and tint has been done since those pics. Is for sale if anyone is keen

What sort of power are you getting with the R34 turbo? Free bump, clean car mate.

It "could" be my bite size brain.........but none of those links work. The point i was trying to make was that you are.... "getting pissed off with fishing up the road", That would lead any normal person to the assumption there is some form of urgency. Therefore a tyre shop would be able to help you.

What do you want for the steering rack? I am also on the gold coast so can pick up. Does it leak? are the boots still good?

I have been pulled over (in Qld) with no major drama's.......... provided from an above veiw the wheel/tyre cannot be seen you should be right. The pics i have are too large, and i have no idea how to reduce them.......but as you can imagine.........18 x 11" rims on the rear (with 7" of dish) certainly fill the guards

One of the best things you can do for ANYengine, is to service it at regular intervals......I suggest no more than 5000klms between services depending on the amount of modifications done.

If the vehicle has not been complied yet, you will be required to fit NEW seatbelts. They are not that expensive. As far as blinker assemblies etc......try meggala, he seems to have a few bits and pieces lying around the place and i beleive he is in your area........

What would it be worth to have the R33 seats sent to Gold Coast Qld? I did not see any in the pics but......do they have tears or cigarette burns?

Just had a look.........seems the offer was to good to refuse as the vehicle appears to have been sold prior to end of auction........I could have sworn it still had 2 days left.

I would find that very surprising, as the owner has had already had 2 offers to purchase the vehicle prior to end of auction for 450,000yen and 470,000 yen for the vehicle alone.........perhaps if these people refrain from bidding, you may be right... : )

No cosmetic differences from factory between 88 and 89 models, the different taillights are from the later model vehicles. The "ribbed" style lights are from the 88/89 models, the flat lights are from the latter term. Also the projector style headlights are also only on the earlier models.

The other option for the power streeing hose is to take the car to enzed and they will replace the hose and place an "olive" connection in the line for about 150. well worth the dollars considering the effort to remove the entire pipe.

i think everyone is forgetting the all important......."estimate" that prestige is giving...........I have never seen a car sell for anywhere near his estimate. But to those that feel they can get that car for that money landed.........good luck

I am running about 280 rwhp out of rb20 in a cefiro, the vehicle needs to be able to be easily street driven, whilst still put up with attending drift meets at qld raceway. I would prefer to avoid running a twin or triple plate simply due to the high purchase costs and high re-co costs. having spoken to a few people, it seems the best options are re-co the current clutch OR replace it with 5 puck ceramic............problem is.....Which one????
