  2. yes jun/hks kit works in 25, just research using an rd28 crank and going 2.9 i want too haha mitch, what next?
  3. if you want external gate a mate would prolly sell his setup with 6-boost mani
  4. i hate people who use both lanes... Well keep me posted on how the 3076 goes!!!
  5. dont do springs before shocks!!! they go pop and car rides badly... IMO, Do shocks, then mower, then ECU, then brakes, then kit... What area are you in too be on that much land
  6. actually the apartment here is cheaper than a house in bayswater to rent, and 5mins from fiance's work... but no space to DIY. engine service, brake fluid, trans service, maybe hunt down why it needs pump of the pedal to start on cold days.
  7. Auto is the only option for Brendo, so no more talk of them soaking up power... and f**k a manual stagea would shit me! Search on the poster name URAS and the keyword AUTO in the forced induction section, interesting thread!
  8. congrats, looks to be an awesome example of an R34 GTR... What area do you live in? looks beautiful, PM if you rather not post... -Ryan
  9. hey all i live in toorak, my normal workshop is in bayswater, and it is a bit of a bloody mission to get there for things as simple as a service... Does anyone recommend anywhere closeish too Toorak who know RB's? Cheers Ryan
  10. My mrs wants to be a cop, she is 5'2"ish, 50ishkg... You can see why i am against it, I'm 6'2" 85kg and if i wanted to not have handcuffs put on, there would be no chance. So this is BS: Weight / Height - There is no minimum or maximum height requirement. from http://www.police.vic.gov.au/content.asp?Document_ID=14447 for people with certain eye-conditions, the way the beam is thrown up is an issue
  11. try knox autos in rowville, and also there is this thing called capslock, when the light is on its BAD
  12. Haha, my kits have been sitting for 18months waiting for me to get someone to check and finnish my work, as they were my first kits. I knew most of the above from my informeter, but was still interested to hear about the boost solenoid, mine is bypassed, and i feel i hit R&R with only a 34SMIC, highflow panel, 3" catback, and bypassed solenoid. Hence i am holding off doing the rest of the exhaust until the kit is fitted. -Ryan
  13. ECC on Ns.com Has these: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=297156 T3 FLANGED TURBOS GT3076R .6ar comp, turbine housing not included list - but choice of .64, .86 or 1.00ar rear to suit ext gate. 450- 500hp. has 4" inlet with anti surge comp cover (this is the new flavour of the month turbo on this site apparently. the one everyone is talking about lately) GT3076/3037R .7ar comp, .82ar rear 500hp (4" inlet, suit ext gate) GT3082R aka GT30 aka GT3040 .7ar comp, .82ar rear 600hp (4" inlet, internal wastegate) .7ar comp, .63ar rear 500hp (4" inlet, internal wastegate) GT3582R aka GT35 aka GT3540 .7ar comp, .86ar rear 700hp (4" inlet, internal wastegate) .7ar comp, .63ar rear 700hp (4" inlet, internal wastegate) .7ar comp, 1.06ar rear 700hp (4" inlet, internal wastegate)
  14. this should be in forced induction peformance, not stag specific, some f**ken guru's in there. HPinabox do a t3 rear for 28series, or you could prolly get it fitted to a VG30 rear? another search to come, hang on ---edit: cant find the graphs i was looking for of another persons car, but you could run a 56 trim .86housing, and depending on your dump pipe setup get a custom flanged dump or cut your dump/front in one in half, add flanges so you can switch out the custom T2 end with your current T3 end... would probably make it the easiest way to buy and sell turbos too, and get some braided lines made up, and you would be using a proven housing!!! Slide or CRD would have them for a nice price. Either way you would need lines, but i think the custom dump is the way to go!
  15. you will need both at some point... but personally i would go the ECU over the EBC if i could have one or the other.
  16. there is a reason why there is no demand for 2540's and hence cheap... when i was thinking of doing upgrades to the stag before deciding i would be better off just getting a 33gtr later in life, i decided 2871r would be the way to go, probably max out in the 220-250 region on 15-17psi with the auto, or if i was prepared to risk the driveline and sacrifice midrange for topend(stupid in a stagea) i would go 30 series... i will try and find the 2871 graphs i am thinking off and post back edit: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Turbo-t196170.html couldnt find his follow up posts tho
  17. lots of threads on 3071/3076, do some reading
  18. 2540's are peices of shit that you shouldnt piss on if they are on fire
  19. I would be looking at a 2871, phat midrange, and past 250 or so i recon the driveline will go BOOM, but there is no magical number is there? it will just be somewhere up that area? Best to ask brad...
  20. In Aus the ViPec seems to be taking off, and Trent at Status here in Vic seems to love them, they are pretty much the same as the link... and should be a fair bit better than his current mail order remap.
  21. ^^^^^^^^
  22. i have a knox autos one if you wanna come for a spin
  23. IBTL we have a wasteland thread for a reason
  24. I worked it out that the extra economey i get out of 98 over 91/92 in every car i have owned, has made the price difference worth it per tank. Eg, Save 3bux on the cost of the tank but get 50 less km out of the tank.
