  1. Sorry for being so late getting my name in guys, but I'll be there!
  2. Yep thats about all you can see. Most of the towbar structure is hidden away where you cant see it.
  3. I have the Fast Fit one installed and its very nice but you're right its a 1200kg max load. I must say however though that the installation quality is impressive. Its all hidden behind the rear bumper so it is very clean and they installed it within about 3 hours on a Saturday morning for me. I doubt you'll get more than 1200kg on the back of an M35, mostly because there is no rigid chassis back there to bolt it to. If you hang more than 1200kg off the back of a Stag you will probably bend the body.

    My New M35

I bought my M35 from Nagoya about 5 weeks ago. The experience was exceptional. George couldn't do enough to help me out when choosing the car, spending far more time with me showing me all of the options than anyone else who has ever sold me a car. After sales service through Alex has been exceptional. There was a minor issue with the car soon after purchasing it and Alex paid for a local mechanic to tidy it up - no hassle. PS - very jealous you got one with that cruise control!
  5. I'll have my Stag in Sydney on Saturday getting a towbar installed but might be able to make something on the Monday, if you guys dont mind a wagon tagging along
  6. It would be 5 1/2 to 6 hours each way... Go to Canberra down the freeway, then head to Cooma, then to Jindabyne and you're practically there. Good thing about having a Stagea is that all wheel drive cars dont HAVE to have snow chains onboard Entry into the national park is about $18/day for a car. You can buy these passes at the Jindabyne tourist information centre or at the entry into the park. There's free parking at the slopes and a good mini mall that has places to buy food, hire equipment, etc... but if you just want to dick around in the snow put on lots of warm layers, a good windbraker and waterproof gloves and shoes Oh yeah... take a change of socks and an extra pair of shoes. They WILL get wet and cold and you will be miserable on the way home if you dont.
  7. I did a trip up to Perisher on the weekend to check out the early snow. So from the Belconnen area in Canberra up to Perisher and back again with 2 adults and 2 kids I averaged 10.6L/100km in my 2002 M35. You could definitely tell the difference when the engine was under load. It drank the first 1/4 of a tank to get to Jindabyne and then another 1/8 of a tank just to get from there up the mountain to Perisher. Without the family in the car I reckon I would have used a whole lot more fuel however.. Sure the car would have been lighter but I would have had a heavier foot in the car by myself.
  8. I usually only ever go to Sydney for weddings or funerals.
  9. I'd need to get someone who has a better knowledge of Stags to take a look at it to see exactly what has been done to it. As far as I know it has a standard intercooler (just pretty pipes) and it has adjustable suspension installed. All I know is that when the boost comes on it sits me nicely back in my seat and grips better than any car I've ever driven. The body is straight and the KMs were low, so I bought it
  10. The things sticking up at the back are being torn out this weekend... they are the only thing left of this birds nest of a horrific stereo that I ripped out the day after I bought it to install a nice clean Kenwood head unit (stupid ugly antennas).
  11. Hey guys, picked this up last weekend.
