hahaha traffic light grand prix, I rly like that I guess a supra would be nice, they are magnificant cars, but you are right, I have a problem with skylines I will look into supras but. In all of you guys oninions, is an imported car better then one form an aussie owner? imported being less kms, one owner and in good nick, or aussie owner being alot of ks, more owners and in a bad/ lower quality shape? Is the money worth an import?

Well I was told how R33 gts series two has things like abs, xenon headlights, basically just a tad upgraded from the series one, are any R34 gt's like this? probs a nub questions, but I am new dont forget

WOOWWWWw that car looks FREEKIN awesome. I have always known R34's are gr8, but why have I never really taken them into account when wanting a car? I dunno why I only wanted an R33, the 34 is soo much better looking I love its squared end. Is an R34 gt better then R33 gts series 2?

Not bursting my bubble at all, keep i mind, I still consider a silvie to be an 'off brand' of the skyline, like a brother and you are completely right. The only Nissan I have driven is my pops pulsar lol. I have no clue what any of them feel like. My plan is to when I am at the level where I can afford any silvia or skyline, to go to a few import shops in concord and pretend like im interested so I can test drive silvias and skylines to see which is best, then just say I will think about it

I guess im not thinking far enough ahead. keep in mind my dream cars ALWAYS been an r34, so it wouldnt hurt to have an autech, get a good few years, when I can afford an r34 (prefferebly gtr R34), buy that and sell the autech and getta nice bonus because it is an autech, good idea, I didnt really think about the future benefits. I guess I do like the look of silvias a bit, it does sort of resemble a holden monaro. and as I said, when I sat in the S15, it was like an rx7, small inside but the perfect size, makes you feel one with the car. never sat in an R33, but am HOPING that its not so small, compact and one with like a silvia now the only issue is that an s15 autech will cost what, 2 or 3 k more then an r33? Anyway, thx for the help, I keep telling myself, I am only young, if a silvia turns out to be the worst thing in the world to ever happen to me, then I got years ahead of me to get something else ahahah.

well... i guess it comes to my final decision. I am sooo confused. I DONT want to stray away from skyline/ Silvias though, sorry in terms of future mods, when I am off my p's, if I was to turbo an R33 gts or an S15 autech silvia, which would give me better performance? and a STUPID Q I know, but even though its got less cylinders, will it make a nice grunt with a full exhaust done? or sound like the tinny mosquitoes like all other 4cyl p platers sound like?

haha ok cool. last questions. the NOOBIEST question of them all, how is the autech (or any S15 silvia for that matter) more powerful than the R33 is it is a 4cyl compared to the skylines 6 cyl?

Yep will do. I know they all say this, but Im only really gonna but it to use on the tracks, not like the dickheads out there who ruin the fun by turing the long straights of the highway into the raceway, givin the modified car community a bad name if I do getta silvia, can I still post here ???

Now im thinking silvia I dont mind the silvia, because until you see the behind, its basically a skyline in my eyes I would truly miss the skyline, but good things come to those who wait, and yet, silvias I think are ONE of the most powerful p plate legal cars. I sat in a few the other day, and with a racing seat, I love them, because they are low and imo a little cramped inside, it makes you feel one with the car, and I love that

OR, would I be better off going with an autec silvia till I can getta more powerful skyline? or just stick with the R33?

I really want power, but ultimately, till im off my p's, cant get a whole lot of it. I love looks, but no cars, NO cars whatsoever will be able to surpass my love for ANY skyline I used to like commys, but just have no real appeal to them anymore, all I think about now are skylines lol. so I think that for now I dont mind what power I get, aslong as its a manual skyline im driving ill be happy ahah. thanks.

Ok, I honestly didnt know the last t stood for turbo (noob I am) lol. I do LOVE the r34's, looks, but then again, I still want an R33, so I guess when it comes to buying the car, I will probably go for an R33, but it will ultimately be whats more affordable and easier to get at that point of time. I do believe that if I am to get an R34, theres no point unless I get the gtr, so I would probably be best with an R33. at the moment, I am driving A saab900s 4cyl 2.3L (I do not like the car, I have it because my dads mate had to get rid of it around the same time I got my p's), so I am lucky to getta working car, but its also auto, so either way, when I get a MANUAL skyline, that extra 2 cylinders alone will feel ALOT better then my car atm. believe it or not, I am actually trying to see whether I can sell the saab and buy a real cheap manual to play around with b4 I get a skyline, because although I love manuals, no one in my family owns one, so I have only the basic skills and experieince in driving my mates manual. I say brand new but I really meant, basically never driven, just a showroom R34 GTR, so it felt brand new you can drive gts-t's on your p's as long as its non turbo right? anyway, thx for the reply, my thinking is that if in the future I got for something with more grunt, like the R34 gtr, then I might as well NOW buy an R33, just so I can say I have owned one, so I can feel the diff etc. A series 2 R33 wouldnt be a bad car Thanks.

Hey guys. I am still fairly new here, but thought this is the perfect place to ask. If I have posted this in the wrong section, PLZ dont burn me, instead, plz guide me to the right part of the forums thanks To my question. It is a huge Q discussed alot, so I thought I would start a new thread with my specific requirements so you guys can see what would be best. I will be on my p's for around 2 more years, so plz dont say "wait till you can get an R34 GTR", because I simply cannot wait + afford that I have ALWAYS wanted a skyline since I could remember, and hopefully soon ish (in around 4-6 months) I should have AROUND the $16k-$18k region to buy a skyline. I was originally thinking an R33, but just CANNOT get over the R34's looks, even though what I want is performance, so the looks is not too important, yet I am too caught up in its appearance. First things first, my requirements: I would like to be able to: upgrade entire exhaust system upgrade parts of the intake do minor to more detailed engine mods e.g. forged pistons, cams etc. possibly after market bodykit Interior mods like gear knob, steering wheel, racing seats (the seats are a must now because I was lucky to sit in a brand new R34 GTR the other day and now I want racing seats) and possibly racing harness if I get serious about upgrading this specific car and not move to a gtr etc. I know, there will probably be things in my list of to do's that you guys wont agree on, but please, let it pass for now and harrass me about it later So what my basic question is, for my requirements, what would be a better skyline to get, an R33 gts-t, or an R34? the MAIN reason why I am still hesitant about the R34 is that Neo-6 engine. Honestly, I am still learning, so I have no idea what the difference between this engine, and the rb25 etc is (what I mean is, I have no clue as to whether the neo-6 is just a plastic engine cover, covering an rb25 or similar), I know it sounds stupid, but I am still learning. As I said, I am still learning, so please dont get angry if anything I have said sounds stupid. I really appreciate any help you guys can offer, because I know you guys are the best to talk to about this. Thanks so much for any help.

I live in Hornsby, and see ALOT of nice skylines. I have seen the green p plater driving the R34 gtt(I think gtt, its got gtr spoiler but cant be gtr). Saw a worn R34 white near Wahroonga. Saw a BEAUTIFUL dark purple R34 gtr near bbq galore in hornsby, then also, I ALWAYS see the beautiful R34 GTR with the amazing blue paint job, if your on here, your cars a beauty (I think its on car sales too). Sadly Im still driving a Saab 900, but when the wallets ready, Ill be the proud owner of an R33

Thats exactly why I started this thread, I got no idea what graphics i like I was originally thinking something like a white r33 with black cf hood and have a graphic on the hood, but then thought against it. I dont really like the graphics that depict animals or people, I like more of the abstract sort of thing.

I love the skyline on the windshield, mind if I steal that ? as for the nismo, i see nothing wrong. it may not be the same font etc, but something about the font you have used is similar to a japanese style writing I reckon, which is awesome, cuz the car IS a Jap dont us all forget As for you 75coupe, I reckon the silver skyline looks awesome aswell, Its what I meant, nothing all over the car, just a few graphics, I like it alot, and I never thought about black on silver, cuz it complliments VERY well I think. Hi guys, new to the forums. have loved skylines since I can remember and am saving to buy one in a few months. I know it seems very premature because I do not even own one yet, but I am a perfectionist, so I like to think of these sort of things early on I was just wondering if you guys were able to show me some pix of your skylines, prefferably r33, but r34 is ok. I am looking for a good design to go with a pearl white overall painted car. I am not asking for this to steal someones ideas, I just wanna see other gr8 designs to see what you guys have done. I dont like the desings hwre it covers nearly every inch of the body, I like one or two things on each side of the car. and no speed stripes etc. I dont think that this sort of topic is on these forums, but I am very sorry if it is. Really appreciate any pix and info you can supply me with. Thanks alot.
