A .82 rear housing is an open scroll turbine housing you need the .84 twin scroll one on a twin scroll manifold. i have a 6466 .84ts on my stock bottom end 2.6 and mine is all in at 4,100rpm

I dare say V cam plays the biggest part in that comparison especially when compared to oversized cams lol!

Open inlet 6466 Gen2, 2.6 crank, 272 cams will work together

Dale is 100% correct its a well proven fact that smaller cams in RB's aid in response. Even going from a stock cam to a type b pon cam will cost you response. Been many track guys that have thrown their poncams in the bin after driving their car, even when the dynosheet looks better it's actually not as good to drive.

My tuner reckons most RB's are over cammed.  (He is no dummy) 272 if you wanna spin it to the moon sure. 272 if you want brapp brapp sic boii idles. But expect it to be soggier in the middle.

It needs the fuel system that’s what makes the power it has to be delivered efficiently to quench the thirst of the big port head! Already stripped the stock pea shooter hard lines out its time for the Teflon don upspec. Fuel pumps, flex sensor and custom alloy surge and hat all done.

Gearbox is the only weak link, if I blow the 6 speed That’ll get turfed for an AL’s RACEGLIDE!!!!!!!!

1× 525 Walbro supports my tiny 325awkw on E85 dude. So it will support your 260rwkw on 98 just fine.

If I was you I would call Al and give him a deposit on that glide now so that way it's ready to be swapped out on the dyno. Hopefully the box lives long enough for at least 1 power run for that dyno sheet ?

the next step is to get the car towed to TRP for another don mega fuel system

Why dude? You have a gearbox that is lucky to survive with the stock turbo bolted onto it. f**k the 6 speed in your car makes a WRX gearbox  look strong!

You have a stock motor that will be able to be turned up to what 270kw max? Throw a single 525 in the tank and put your money to better use dude. You won't even need E85 for that kinda power with the 7670.

My car was at the power/torque limit of the motor at E15 dude so theres no way you are gunna be near those numbers lol. Dexter said you are out of motor that's it.

You do know Scott WILL NOT push the limit of a stock motor. Take it from me i know! He will give you whatever he feels is safe and that's it.

I really struggle to see your logic in these $4-5k Don Mega fuel setups for a million kw when you literally need a $250 single in tank pump to start enjoying this car?

Put your money towards a gearbox, a diff and at least some Evo calipers to help this thing put the power down and stop...

I can assure you it won't make it off the dyno with that 6 speed mate & you know it. The fuel system money is literally your gearbox & diff almost paid for.. Then theres the other bills you dont see like the tow truck back to Rigoli & the dyno time you will pay for with an incomplete tune.

THEN pay for another tow back and the tune to be finished. Give the tuner a car setup properly so it goes on the dyno and gets driven home not 1 that that leaves on a tow truck for repairs cos it's broken!

It's a beautiful car with all the cream dude why hold it back with shitty stock parts for junk that you simply DO NOT NEED ?‍♂️

  5. The R200 diff has been put in an Evo successfully. I believe Dion from Fabtech has 1 in his car. Somebody is making kits for them soon/now.

    (Can't remember who atm) ?

I believe guys have also been using the GTO/3000GT diffs are also being used

No probs lith, nothing taken to heart here, you were on the money,  the other reason why it was a touch fatter which I had forgotten until digging into inj was that the injectors had 8/9% variance.

Just a couple of pretty switch on ppl and and  a gumby (me) discussing things.

That's interesting about the BM 1650 compared to the ID 1700. Will definitely be doing a bit more research about the injectors but after reading a bit more I'm leaning towards the Ids2000s but I may need to rob a bank to pay for them ? If you guys hear of any banks being robbed ot wasnt me ok ?

    DO NOT USE ID2000's!!!!!!

The R is getting KV8'ed and E85'ed as we speak. I'll leave your evo super lemon in the dust.

And just about the time you catch your breath,  the S15 will be done & I'll spatter AD08R all over your windshield. Mivec's not going to help you mate. I've got a NAPREC head, and I'm going to hold it hard and flat all the way to redline.

So I'll take you down with not one, but two cars. Game on cowboy, yeeeeee-ha

HAHAHAHA! So you will make the same or probably less power than my car and be heavier with longer gearing?

And will still be 1000+rpm laggier than mine?  ?

S15  is running what gearbox & diff you run bro?

Oh stock 6 speed? Good luck getting off the dyno man...

The R33 is the ultimate out of the bunch, its a road registered cannonball and its performance because of its longer wheelbase is superlative to the rest

What are you basing these statements on, Or you just regurgitating the dribble you have read or the best motoring subtitles?

A stock GTR will get CHOPPED by a newish auto V6 Camry and so would your car so put the pipe down son...

I will borrow my brother in-laws Punjabi express and line you up when your clutch is fixed.. I will even leave it in D & not use sports mode to help even things up if you like?

In fact I will even put piggy in the passengers seat along with our boxes of piss in the boot I'm that confident!

Have you actually track driven all 3 models HARD to form this opinion? I'm guessing not?

Driving piggies car in a straight line doesn't count.

Nor does driving your car up and down "the strip" trying to see "who's looking at you in your GTR"  in Bondi count, your car has done more km's on a tilt tray than you have spent behind the wheel.

Hate to break it to you but generally speaking shorter wheel base cars make for a more responsive better cornering car.

    E.g.. MX5's, 86/BRZ, RX7's, Evo's etc

  9. Ladies and Gentlemen up for grabs are my front and rear brembo calipers off my 06 Aus delivered Evo 9 which are currently still on my car and have travelled 73K only.

They have basically brand new Intima SR pads in them (600-800km MAX) . Calipers have been sprayed yellow. 3 still look good 1 failed (issue with the clear coat)

Calipers will be available in approximately 2-3 weeks time. (When my new brakes arrive)

Brakes are located in Western Sydney area but can be delivered at buyers expense.

    Please contact Mick on 0423089277
