This car was marked as Grade 4 condition wise but gets marked something else because of the modifications. The car was off the road for 9 months with a blown motor as an injector crapped out and the engine detonated. I had stock ones cleaned and fitted. I pulled out the engine and replaced it with a recently rebuilt RB25 and while that was happening I sent the turbo off to GCG to be assessed, all checked out good. The car was then tuned on the dyno and checked to make sure everything is ok and working properly. The car has been fantastic since. RB25DE Non Turbo Only Parts Fuel Rail, Regulator and Injectors - $90 Exhaust Manifold and heat shield - $35 Exhaust Front Pipe and heat shields - $35 Air Box - $25 RB25DET Turbo or RB25DE Non Turbo Parts These parts are suitable for either turbo or non turbo RB25 motors. I'm pretty sure all of them are interchangeable. If some aren't please let me know. RB25DE VCT Cylinder Head - This is the non-turbo variant which has lumper cams than the DET version and was going to be used for an RB30 conversion. I've spent $300 (I have receipts) on it to have it disassembled, cleaned, warp/crack/pressure tested and combustion chambers cc'd to get it ready to be ported and polished etc. All parts are there - $670 RB25DET Oil Pump - $110 RB25DET Water Pump and pullywheel - $110 R33 GTST Steering wheel Non Airbag - $75 Alternator and Bracket - $90 Inlet Runners from head to plenum good for port matching to head(no water pipes) - $45 Manual Gearbox Starter Motor (might be usable on auto) - $50 Power Steering Unit (a bolt mounting hole has a crack and the pulley wheel is bent) $30 Turbo Oil Supply Line with heat shielding - $25 Coil Packs (6x), Wiring/Plugs and Alloy Brackets - $240 Radiator Fan Clutch Unit - $30 Other Parts Set of 6 RB30 Rods - $90 RB25DE Non Turbo Bottom End (crank, pistons, rods, clutch/flywheel) - $200 RB25DET Bottom End (crank, rods, sump, oil pickup). Pistons have some pitting in them so would suit a rebuild. The bores are in good condition - $300 Take Both bottom ends for $450 I'm happy to post any of the bits you need at the buyers expense. Or you can drop in and collect parts from my place. I'm in Melbourne, inner east. I would prefer the buyer of the engines to collect them as the cost of shipping them interstate would be about $100 to Sydney, around $160 to Brisbane and $100 to Adelaide so not really worth it. These are my shipping estimates from previously shipping an engine to Sydney. Here is a link to a zipfile with pics of the alternator, coilpacks, CAS, fanclutch, fuel rail/injectors, p/s pump, starter motor and steering wheel in it (no pictures of cylinder head). So if i bought say an R34 GTR and lived in Japan for a year driving it around and then decided to come back to Australia and bring it with me... could i say i paid $25,000 for it so that i pay less duty and GST and i avoid the luxury tax as well? or will they basically tell me to get ****ed and work it out on market value here?   11. what's the thickness of the plates? if you could get Vernier Calpiers on to measure that would give us an idea. Has the clutch been rebuilt before?

  14. Yeah the engine had about 75,000km's... i wasn't able to add the pictures at the time of posting, just wouldn't work for some reason. Yeah i have pics of the pistons, there is just some pitting around the top. The bores themselves are fine... .

  17. I have two bottom ends which i need to get rid of. * RB25DE Non Turbo Bottom End (crank, pistons, rods, clutch/flywheel). Was looking for $350, now looking for $225 * RB25DET Bottom End (crank, rods, sump, oil pickup). Pistons are damaged from detonation (leaned out injector i think), so would suit a rebuild. Good condition otherwise. Was looking for $500-550, now looking for $350 If you take both the price is $525 I also have a set of 6 RB30 Rods for $95 I'm in Melbourne, inner east. Would prefer buyer to collect as shipping interstate is about $100 to Sydney (so around $160 to Brisbane and $100 to Adelaide). I just realised I have these engines advertised in another post here. so i suppose this can be deleted, i'll update the other post. Cheers, Andrew
