-.- I'm well aware of the insane amount of wine red R33's lol. just keep finding random things on the car and thought someone on here used to own it and would be able to shed some light on the beast. found a Japanese shoe wedged in the boot haha

Thought I would bump this with a few little bits that have been changed. came with the following when I purchased the car last year. 320kph yamamoto dash TEIN coil overs Im sure someone on here owned her before Harley (AfterGlo) and myself. and judging by the second image I uploaded I'm sure a few of you have cruised with her. Ill just wait for someone with some info

Hey everyone as the title suggests I'm trying to find out some history on my '93 R33. No real reason TBH jusr curious and thought someone would know some of the history of it. I know AfterGlo owned it before me but thats about it. Have a couple of older photos from before I had it. Its Wine Red has a boot lip and a set of 18" ROH Drift R wheels, FMIC and Huge cannon. any help would be great, thanks.

heater core could be blocked, had that in my S13, never fixed it though lol. could also check the heater tap located on the firewall where the heater hoses are located (inlet side)

Ryno's R32... Over A Decade And Counting
Crazy Xav replied to Ryno's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Love the car mate, nice to see a well maintained R32 with the same owner for so long! Should be very responsive with the latest parts too. Keep up the good work, look forward to reading more. -
BTW, don't modify the standard plenum to move the TB, the runners are designed to receive air from top, center. If you move the throttle body to the front the air flow to each cylinder will be effected. FFP's are nice but more or less unnecessary. I have one but its been more than a 'Bolt-on' affair. Hole cut, throttle cable mounts, extended wiring for sensors etc. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think you need a R33 IAC unit for most FFPs into 25neos.

Yep, did all the bolt ons with the engine in the car. There's not much room under the plenum, so its crucial to make sure all the hoses are fitted correctly, I had a mate hold the plenum up while I fitted the oil cooler pipes etc before it was bolted up. -

Hey guys it's been a while since I really did any more to the car so thought I'd get my lazy ass to the shed and get a few of the smaller jobs out the way. Had a few parts arrive during the week (wastegate, FPR, drivers side cooler piping) Installed the 38mm wastegate, hooked up vacuum lines for wastegate. oil return, water feed and water return bolted up, all new braided steel lines. Turbo torqued up. Inlet side intercooler piping dummied up, used a 2.5" hole-saw filed down to fit pipe. All measured within 1mm Decided to paint a few bits too, since oxidized steel and brown plastic seem out of place in the engine bay. CAS painted to match timing cover and painted an ugly brown electrical box of some sort near the wiper motor. Awaiting a reducer for throttle body to cooler piping, Turbotech V2 boost controller, braided fuel hose and 1 speedflow fitting for fuel rail return line. Its a very tight fit back there so a 180· fitting is required. Finally got around to changing the fuel pump, got to the tank and found a tidy Bosch 044! Too easy I will be contacting Stao for my dump pipe flange in a few weeks, then there's just the dump pipe/front pipe and a idle air hose and a couple of vacuum nipples. Hope someones enjoying the read, I will keep this thread updated with any more progress. -
Cheers for the advice everyone. Yeah the frame had been pulled up as we were pulling it out. Will keep this pump and see how it performs. Never had any problems before.
-
said it was an attached thumbnail 2 posts up, so I tried again, this time on my PC.
-
got a pic up, having a look in the interwebs makes me think it may be a bosch unit, but unsure, hopefully one of you guru's will show your face
-
My bad, cant upload photos from the phone. Will put up a pic a later. Definitely aftermarket, has a speedflow style fitting on it.
-
Hey guys, attempting upgrading my fuel pump and I have encountered 2 things, 1. We cannot pull the bracket out and 2. The pump looks oversized compared to the how to guides, can someone shed some light on the situation. I've attached an image of the pump, intank. If it helps, the fuel line from the pump is a Gates fuel line. Cheers, Xavier

Cars on hold atm as my wife is unable to work so money is tight but I have all the parts needed so once I have the funds Im getting the beast towed to a fabricator. Will take some progress photos soon. I scored a new bootlid and S2 wing for $100 as mine was rusted and faded but being a S2 is slightly lighter on tone but still better than rust. -
Have a R33 2 door boot lid, maroon in colour, has some rust bubbles from a lip that was catching water. Has lock assembly. $70 Standard turbo manifold suit RB20/25, good condition. $50 Standard RB25 Inlet manifold, minus cooling rail, comes with fuel rail and injectors. $100
