  1. I had them on 9inch rims so they would look nice and fat on 7.5 rims.
  2. i got a price for shipping from sydney to melb via www.packandsend.com.au & they wanted $95! ridiculous pricing IMO
  3. price drop on nankangs, from $150 to $130 for the 2 tyres (they are like new)!
  4. hi guys, i did a search on this forum & quite a few have here like the work & price of louie @ smithfield (exclusive colours) so i drove down there & he quoted me $1350 to respray & fit the side skirts, front lip & rear lip. this also includes doing a flow on the front bonnet & front 1/4 guards, scratches from a damn cat. anyway, 6weeks later & i am still waiting for him to take my car in, he looks busy which is a great sign however i dont know how much longer i should wait - in the meantime are there any other spray painters in sydney people here would recommend from personal experience? i think i have time up my sleeve to see what other prices i can get.... regards,
  5. that is cheap - surely that price was not for the entire car?
  6. i also fitted some anodised blue 'works' nuts which is the same company as rays right?
  7. what width did u fit on ur r34? looks nice
  8. yokohama tyres sold! nankangs still available for $150!
  9. give the guy a break - he's only advertising his plates for sale

  11. its a k6 which is mechanically identical to the k5 (except for minor diff. in paint scheme, pin striping on side fairing)
  12. the front wheels definitely kick in otherwise my car would be a smoke machine! in your 2nd explanation about the rear correcting, im assuming you are asking about the 4wheel steer...i havent really noticed this. is there a module for this which sits under the parcel tray? reason i ask is that there is a white plug that is hanging on its own from under the parcel tray, located closer to the drivers side
  13. how do i test if the HICAS or ATTESA is working fine? since my post i have emailed blitz japan, u.k. & california with no response...
  14. just spoke to my mechanic - i was too focused on my peak boost which is a split second spike. he said i need to watch what boost it is holding when revving out...i kept turning down the the boost level to correct the spike. all will be good now that i dont need to worry too much about boost spike
  15. anybody have suggestions here on settings? i think i'll get my mechanic to look at it
  16. hi guys, my boost controller holds boost in the lower rev range well however when i get to top end revs the boost level seems to drop off to about 1.2bar. ive got the blitz sdbc icolor (which is similar functionality to the id3) tuned @ 1.35bar. there are 2 modes, MANU & AUTO...i have selected MANU, as per instruction booklet it is more accurate than AUTO. anyway, my setup is HKS GTSS turbo's with tomei type a cams etc (325awkw). under 'boost setup' i have the following settings: set - 79 gain - 5 limiter - OFF scramble time - OFF ultimately i am happy with the mid range boost level but i want to pick up the tail end (i.e. top end boost), my thoughts was if i drop the GAIN i can then increase the SET (i.e. boost pressure). as i understand the GAIN gives you a quicker response & also an overshooting boost if set too high. any ideas? who is a guru with these EBC's? anyone running similar turbines with similar boost controller? if so, what are your settings?
  17. sounds like too much trouble so i'll just pay to have them done. reason im asking as that my rims are sold however i am keeping the tyres, so no balancing required
  18. hi guys, has anyone ever taken their own tyre off a rim, ive got 17's & i'd rather take the tyres off myself @ home than pay someone else (if at all possible) any pointers/tips would be great thanks!
  19. tempe tyres are great - definitely have the highest turnover in sydney which makes them the cheapest! i bought my 255/18/35 kumoh for $160 each fitted & balanced
  20. can u do better than $110? that is what i am paying for them new
  21. i can personally take them to canberra next week, i have a meeting in goulburn next week. if you are interested let me know & i am happy to organise this
