  7. indeed.
  8. yeah, I dunno where you're getting 18psi though...the car never ran more tan 1bar on the dyno...Carlos wouldn't run anymore as the tune couldn't be changed due to the fconv.
  9. wish i still had my dyno sheets...i gave them all to the guy who bought it.
  10. that's weird, the millenium dyno (1bar) pulled 38X...different dynos vary so much!! This was after they changed timing around though...it was apparently way off.
  11. what turbo do you have?
  12. what Matt are we talking about?
  13. jesus that is old....was looking at it for a replacement engine when I punched the rod out of my old 33..that was almost 2 years ago!!!
  14. Part with $2400ish Noel and you have yourself the perfect turbo....the mob has spoken..well me and josh.
  15. Indeed, for Noels application I think it's 2835 FTW!!!
  16. Get a HKS 2835 and call it a day Noel.
  17. The 2835s is internal gate.. HKS GT2835 Pro S - 420 PS Output COMPRESSOR: -Wheel- 56 Trim - 53.1 Inducer / 71.1 Major -Housing- 100 Inlet / 50 Outlet - 0.50 A/R TURBINE: -Wheel- 84 Trim - 56.5 Major / 51.8 Exducer -Housing- T3 inlet / Outlet spec: Internal GT-Pro; 0.68, 0.87 A/R
  18. why not a 2835 range turbo then...??
  19. motor he said he has a hold of has a built head and bottom end...dunno what times he wants he just said hes 1/4 mile orientated..
  20. He said hes 1/4 mile orientate...hence I reckon 3037s.
  21. I thought he was talking about NOS to bring on boost quicker. This staging boost idea has been explored before....i don't believe it would make HUGE differences to lag time though...large turbo's still take more time to spool than small ones...for example the 3037s on the 33 took a hell of a lot longer to spool to .8bar than the standard turbo on my first 33. In fact I didn't notice huge differences in lag time between .8bar and 1.3bar...I think boost staging was to curve the harshness of boost coming on causing wheel spin in high hp cars.
  22. pg2me..........
  23. Heaps of people use NOS to get turbo's on boost...but honestly...are you really wanting to got that far?? The turbo's we're talking aren't lag monsters..but if you're really chasing times, NOS would be a good option.
  24. Highflows are all well and good..but at the end of the day, if I was you (and you could afford it), i'd change your turbo. Like Josh and I are saying..either a 25/40..3037s...or practicly anything in the mid to large HKS range are some of the best turbos available. However you can get the same type of turbos in the garrett range, for less money.
