Hey guys, Been thinking for a little while about selling my R33 to upgrade to something newer. She's a clean car, used as my daily and only has the basic of mods. -133xxx km -Silver in color -Rego til January (will re-do if i still have it when it runs out) -Turbo back exhaust (not sure what brand the dump pipe and cat are but the cat-back is x-force) -turbo smart vee-port bfv -18 inch rims (front tyres are 60-70% rear are 40-50) -Full soundsystem consisting of: pioneer double din dvd receiver head deck, alpine type r splits in the front and type r coaxials in the rear, alpine vpower 600 watt 4 channel amp, kicker 350 watt mono block and dual kicker comp 10 subs. Is a good clean car and runs perfectly fine. Always maintained with good quality oils and changed every 5000 km. Cant upload any pics atm because im at work, but if anyone wants to give me a an email ill send some when i get home. I would like to try and get $8500 with the soundsystem, and I will also chuck on 6 months rego if I can get that much. I am open to offers however and will take less without the soundsystem. you could find an auto for that price or maybe cheaper WITH rego. i see auto's pretty cheap when i have a browse around. personally id look around for a better deal. however if you do decide to go with this car, the leaky cam cover gasket isnt too much to worry about. can get both cam cover gaskets and half moon gaskets needed to replace both sides for about $120 and pretty easy job to do yourself.

hi guys, so i changed my gearbox and diff oil on the weekend and now all i can smell when im driving is gear oil. i rechecked the fill/drain holes straight away and they are all good. i spilt a little bit of diff oil on the exhaust when i was filling it up, but ive since done a 200km drive up to the city and back, so i assume that would have all been burnt off by now. is there anyway that a leak or something could have been triggered? this smell is driving me insane.

also more info on the exhaust?

ive only owned my skyline for about a month, but this has only started happening over the past few days. in the mornings, when it first gets going its like its flooding or choking up with fuel. theres no black smoke or anything but the engine itself just feels like its choking up, then the idles will go really high for a few minutes til it warms up. i mean higher then the usual rise with a cold start, up to around nearly 3k. once its warmed up this stops however. its also backfiring alot more then usual. in particular in between gear changes, it used to only back fire if i put my foot down and shifted but now its doing it even low rpm gear changes without planting it. i also noticed on the way to work today, that my fuel pressure gauge was going all over the shop. it would jump up to around 70 psi, then jump back to 40psi, and just keep shifting around like that. also sat on 80psi whilst i was just coasting down a hill at 60ks. this was definately not doing this a few days ago. could there be something thats causing all these issues to be occuring? just seeing as they seem to be related to fuel in some way or another. even possibly shit fuel?

would be interested in side skirts pending on their condition. and also rear bar possibly.

Hey guys, Firstly, i recently bought my first skyline, a 96 R33 GTST series 2. The only mods it has is a cat back exhaust, bov, and a switch to make it run on 7psi instead of the 5/7 @ 4500rpm (although the difference between it being on and off i cant even notice) and it has 131xxx km on the clock (whether they are real or not who knows, although it does feel like a car with low km's the way it drives etc) Prior to owning the skyline, i had a 5L SS and before that a fairly modded up WRX. The wrx went like a rocket, especially compared to the skyline. Ive always loved skylines, so even though mine is stock as, im pretty happy to have one now. I am pretty stoked with the car, it seems to run well and nothing seems to be worn out. everything is tight, no vibrations, no noises anywhere, engines runs very smooth. My only issue is, it really doesnt go that quick. I mean stock, i didnt have much expectations, but to me it doesnt feel like it pulls any harder then my 5L VT anchor. I did some searching on the forums, and i couldnt really find much information regarding stock turbo's only naturally aspirated. So my question really is, are they just not that quick stock? Did i have higher expectations then i should have? I think the part i notice most is when boost comes on its like it doesnt even really take off, i hear the spool etc but it doesnt get up and go like id expect. When comparing this to my wrx, the wrx would fly like a bat out of hell. Although it was relatively modded, i had expected to have a bit more balls, especially on boost.

what size rims are they sitting on? I will buy these if that bloke pulls out!
