hi roy, everythings been going great, I have taken the car to my usual mechanic whom i am good mates with anyway. Rather than paying $2500 for everything then another $500 or so for power fc tuning im looking at paying just under 2k including the power fc tune. My only stuff around is locating a speedo drive from a gtr to fix the speedo problem. Will get it back this week, with power fc tuned, 3" front pipe, 9psi low boost and 13psi high boost. Im itching to see what power it will make and how it will feel on the road. Take it Easy Mark

Hi guy's, At the moment I am doing an rb25 conversion in my r32. I need to find a speedo sensor from a r32 gtr as it is mechanical and fit that to the head of my rb25 sensor. I have tried a couple of places but have had no luck. Does anyone know who would have one?? Much Appreciated Thanks Mark

Hi Guys, The details are as follows: • This car is (or was) the primary demo car for Yanack Racing in Japan • Travelled an elapsed 77K klms since manufacture, it has travelled less than 8K klms since an extensive and meticulous rebuild at huge cost to the former owners. • HKS 2. 7L stroker (8000Km), • Trust TD07 turbine (1000Km), • HKS F-Con V professional,ORC twin plate clutch (1000Km), • OS Giken fast cross transmission (1000Km) • Tomei 2-way diff, • Brand new YANACK Racing widebody styling and GT wing ( bodykit worth $10K by itself), • 7 point roll bar, • TRUST Oil Cooler ( new), • HKS boost gage,oil temperature gauge,oil pressure gauge, fuel pressure indicator and exhaust gas temperature indicator, • oil catch tank, • Yanack recently spent almost $70K AUD modifying & tuning this car, not including the costs of cosmetics. • Car is suggested to be close to 600BHP ( 335rwKw) at 1.6bar, but this will be confirmed when dynoed upon landing. No worries buddy, the mechanics are mates and have done all my work on my 32. They are called "Casey Automotive" located in Cranbourne, which is not bad as im in Berwick and its only a 10mon drive.

Hi Guys, Thankyou soo much for your help! Cars gone in this morning. I have: R33 loom and factory ecu It has a 2wd sump R33 Gearbox Exhaust joint next door to the mechanics they will find a bracket for me. I also have a power fc and blitz spec r boost controller going in. I should have the car back next week. thanks heaps Mark

Thats wonderful guy's that means I can keep my clutch!!! Its not very old and I was a bit worried if I would have to buy a new one. Should I just use the steering pump that comes with the rb25??? thanks a heap guys Mark

Hi Guy's, Theres a couple of things I really need to find out before my car goes into the mechanics on Monday. I need to know if there are any complications to take care of when doing the conversion. Things like: Air Con Compressor hosing Belts Power steering Clutch (will my current Exedy clutch work and fit with the rb25 fly wheel???) Although I am aware that the tail shaft requires shortening and balancing I have taken that into consideration and it will be taken care of. All advice and help very much appreciated as the work starts Monday!!! Thanks Mark

be carefull guys im not sayin you were speeding, but you may notice little boxes on in the middle on top of the roof of cop car's. They are speed camera's I found out because a mate of mine got done for 5k's over and he was on the other side of the road heading in the opposite direction. Take it easy Mark

I didn't know that you have to give the bank an invoice for everything you are going to buy with the loan $$$. Jeeze they have to be a pain, although it is good coz some idiot could say he's buying a car and then leave. Hi Roy, Im sorry buddy, i still do love the rb20 but its my mate that helped convince me. His rb25 is stock, with pod, fmic, bleed valve, rb20 ecu and his run in the high 12's. take it easy Mark

my mate that i mentioned earlier with rb25 conversion also has a rb20 ecu and it works great

Also I just spoke to a mate that will supply me an engine for $2,500 provided that I trade in the rb20. It is a 98 s2 r33 rb25 40th anniversary edition with 34,000k's I can't wait I just have to pay my rego and then ill go visit the bank. The wheels will be in motion in about 3 weeks. take it easy Mark

Hi Roy, I was told that $2,500 will do everything, although I have to go buy an engine, gearbox, loom and ecu. I just got off the phone to my local mechanic whom I am mates with and have done all my mechanical work on my car to date, they told me $1,000 will do everything. They will swap the engine, fit gearbox, fit the loom and ecu, put new irridium plugs, oil, oil filter, fuel filter etc... The will also shorten the tail shaft, fit my boost controller, catch can and dump pipe. I think thats a good deal.
