  1. if the pump isnt kicking in but the relay is. is it the ecu or the pump failing?
  2. wow its quite interesting ready some of the old comments that you make at times and realising what a f u c k head that you can be to people. Really sorry everyone for being such a fu ck stain. wow cant believe that was me, so immature.
  3. I have an r32 gts4 and have followed the tutorial on how to bleed the system albeit may be a shortened one not sure. Couple of issues I've had are: Does the car need to be perfectly level? Does the transfer case need to be full when bleeding the line? When the pump engages is it loud or is it just a click sound and its pumping? I have checked the pump out to see if its pumping by getting someone to connect and disconnect the airlock bleed connector in the foot panel and i can feel it clicking on and off but it's VERY quite in operation and it almost seems like its not pumping IE like a fuel pump. I'm just a little confused on the issue as i am a first time backyarder to this operation. also can it possibly be gravity bled?? and when people say that the fluid needs to be 30mm above this line then 5mm below that one and then your meant to have 5mm of clear space in the reservoir..........................WTF are they talking about wouldn't it just be maintain the fluid in the reservoir so that it doesn't run out???? Thanks in advance. I just cant find the info i'm after anywhere.
  4. gts4 and gtr have the SAME gearbox as i have opened both side by side. your 4th gear is crunching cause your box has either been flogged or poorly maintained or both, as there are 3 small stainless clips in the synchro of 4th gear to allow it too work, albeit it a poor design and no nissan doesn't make them anymore, get a re coed box for like 800 somewhere or get and r33 gtr s2 box that can handle like 700hp. the awd system is hydraulic the front wheels will grip once the system realizes there is slip in the rear, you can hook up a kill switch to the fuse to alternate between 2wd and awd for some fun and it doesn't cause any issues, just make sure to stop before switching it over, also with these cars and other gtrs, wrx, evos, etc make sure that all 4 tyres share the same profile and rim size as having different sizes can and eventually will destroy your diffs. there is no need to change the diff out off a gts4 they are strong as and have seen 9 sec pass on many cars from japan, just look after it they are also known to handle 800hp plus with the right care and driving style. the cars are beautiful i will never sell mine i just spend 20k on the engine now is rb30. also your front suspension is GTST NOT GTR don't let people tell you it is because the strut end has a different fitting. also be careful replacing the ecu with another r32 ecu the gts4 has a fit if you put in a gtst not a gts4 one, f**ks me why. Honestly i would ditch the rb25 and get an rb26, if i where in your shoes and not have the money i did to throw at this thing. any other advise i can think of with these cars i will send your way when i can.
  5. I purchased the car 12 months plus ago with a dodgy headlight setup because it had a faulty switch. They installed a pull swith and wiring with no relays ect ect and now i have a new switch, i am trying to wire in the gtr lights properly cause the gtst and gtr globes have different plugs on them, sigh so how do you wire them in??? and which globes do you use for the high beam. Thanks very much.
  6. clippy mate you buy that car hang on in the hills f**k these things handle i got one just stuck rb30 awd in it <------PORN, becareful buying it thought as people will tell you that shit for them is the same as the gtr and it's not, shocks are gtst, and you cant fit gtr ones to it, the gearbox however is gtr diffs are different gtr has 4.11 gts4 has 4.3's, Mate good luck with sale shame your selling such a rare car, hope the new buyer loves it as much as we love ours.
  7. hey man i got one of these myself, sticking rb30 awd in it with a r32 gtr box r34 gtr brembos, engine is fully forged and shit so going to be a sexy sexy car. Personally i have owned wrx's and tx3 turbo's in the past, personally i will NEVER go back to em. However just be careful as some parts for this car are tricky to to explain to people all they hear is r 32 awd they dont realise that some of the parts are gtst. also what ever anyone says about the gear box, theres NO difference i pulled out the gts4 one right next to a r32 gtr one and they are the same, only difference is in the drive line is the diffs, gtr is 4.11 and the gts4 is 4.3. hope your loving your baby as much as i do, i even have a baby seat in mine as they legally are fitted out for it.
  8. ^^^yeah it's not gonna be an all out rb30 yet lols gotta put cams and bigger injectors in it down the track lol.
  9. ^^^well lucky i got it back, my mate fixed it and gave the machine shop a backhand as it cost him 5 hours labour. it came off easy enough and went back on easily and has been tested it will be ok.
  10. ok so if they machine it flat then that will be ok?
  11. ^^^yeah thats what he reckons, it's now stressing me that the thing won't come off without damage.
  12. will keep everyone updated on what happens!
  13. yeah well instead of machining it to .002" or .003" he machined it to .008" to prevent having to use the grub screws and reckons it won't move, you can get it off but it will be a pain and what ever damages are caused this f**ker is paying for it period. never going to use sunshine coast machinists again. i agree with the don't weld it part seen it f**k up cranks before on 1hz and 1hdt landcruiser engines which i what i work on but this is un acceptable.
  14. More dirty pictures. filthy lazy bastards. you will also notice the NO grubs screws in the crank..............WTF!!!!!
  15. balancer is original one and no the balancer isn't coming off the collar is i checked it when i put it on it was flush now it's not! as below will highly indicate. living on the sunshine coast there is NO trustworthy machinists around here let alone most mechanics.
  16. found the issue FRIGGIN MACHINIST IS SHIT. Didn't grub screw it and didn't slide the collar on properly and now is coming off. f**k SAKE taking it back going to have a fit now that i have lost all those gaskets and tell them i want it redone as it wasn't done properly in the first place and f**king grub screwed this time and i'm not f**king paying for it!
  17. yeah all the machining got done like it's meant to be but it's only sticking out like 2 to 3 mm if that would possibly sit inside of the timing gear grove but it's fully on no doubt about that i double checked it twice, and it's already in the engine torqued down with oil pump on and adapter plate on don't really want to go ripping all that off will upload pics asap. have done alot of research on this came up with nothing and all the others have been flush so like wtf?? did nitto make it too long i wonder???
  18. yeah right ok 7k sounds like plenty anyway any ideas on this crank collar issue
  19. GOD SO OVER THE DO THIS DO THAT AND THE CONSTANT DISAGREEMENT OVER RB30DET BETWEEN WORK SHOPS. Look i have fitted the nitto pump to this thing and fitted the collar now i have gone to fit the timing gear and found it pretrudes more because of the collar than the rb20 one next to it. secondly what is the safest revs that a fully ballanced stock ballancer can rev to that has been ballanced with the crank and flywheel.??? please no answers seem to come up about this use the hot word search????
