Mate go put the gts4 metal tank back in. It has a swirlpot inside the tank where the pump sits. Also get an s14 snub nose clutch master cylinder because you will want a 30 in that thing soon and will need to do this anyway. Also with the awd light coming on and off check the resevior in the boot on the right side and make sure the levels are right and also make sure you bleed the rear nipple properly. Also check that the piston in the gearbox for the clutch packs is engaging properly and make sure to check the 4wd fuse in the box under the bonnet of the lefthand side in front of the strut tower is in correctly and not corroding. The exhaust will be about 150mm shorter of the rear bumper then normal. Your auto cluster is different from a manual gts4 manual gts4 is the same as gtr. With the diff ratios yes bang on the gts4 is 4.33 and are very strong. Many have seen over 800hp through them. The tail lights from gtr will go straight in the just have a little over hanging corner. Also nistune is awesome forget power fc. The capabilities and system retention of things like knock are very important and when/if you go rb30 it can be straight up retuned for that too.

mate if you and i added our problems with the last 2 years of builds together i reckon it would be half this thread. how's car build going atm? did the rb28 require any notches to be cut out like the rb30 to rb32 stroker?

Yeah true. But 4 door gts4 are becoming rare and so ask a good price. I talked to one import car sales guy in SEQ who's quite well known and he reckons in the right circumstances there's no reason I wouldn't get 30 k for it. I honestly thought the guy was on drugs and a couple of other import car sales people also told me 28 and 27! Due to the fact there is no redbook price for these apparently. I would be happy with 2004 mkll xr8 manual or 2002 sti. I read the post and I can appreciate where you guys are coming from. But I guess my centimental attachment to it from all my hard work maybe blinding me from the truth of the price. Has taken 2 years of consisting working on it myself to get it there almost nothing has been out sourced other then machning and parts.

Yes they are 100%. And My gts4 does not have GTR suspension i've tried 4 friggin sets and none match they are gtst? maybe i have an odd one.

cas works well tested it, sctraching my head bout ecu been lots of rain here lately just did code check on ecu came up 55. has z32 afm wondering if that maybe an issue with old wiring i know alot of people fall on that too and doesnt come alot as being wrong will try sitting coil pack on head with a lead running from coil pack to plug tomorrow. timings right. it has rb25de head on forged rb30 awd bottom end in a r32 gts4 stock cams fully recoed head and new 100lb valve springs arp head studs and rb26 head gasket. so i'm ruleling out compression issue. stupid thing has piston slap above 1500 rpm in 1st cylinder though thats another story i know what i have to do to resolve that. theres not much that isnt new on it. maybe needs more earthing out from block???

have BRAND NEW coil pack harness genuine from nissan. would love to take it to a reputable workshop but simply dont have that cash and i live more then 150k's from one

also changed the spark plug to but it seems to be when the coil pack is bolted down it misses???? new coil packs arent missing paint either?? f**ks me bout to go ape shit.

^^^ damn dude. ok so check low voltage. well today i pulled the coils out and swapped them with 3 others plus a spare nissan set i had in the shed with a spark tester and it has spark on every single tested coil pack i also pulled the injectors and checked that they have flow and swapped them around and ALL injectors have flow. also recalibrated fuel pressure regulator as it was getting 100psi pressure....................................??? anyway didnt fix the issue my ecu has a nistune daughter board it it to so what voltage should i be looking for from a skyline alternator?? 14.4v?? also now engine wont stay idling just dies pissing me off big time this has cost me 30k to build this thing.

Thanks mate. Yes all is new and its waiting to be tuned has bigtime in it. Found out it was typical aac valve issue but now its missfiring on cylinder 6. Has spark has fuel. Has new coil packs plugs coil loom and freshly clean injectors can't seem to isolate the issue. Ignores has good resistance and signal. Any help on that?

Have just put new rb30 into r32 with rb25de head and rb20 cams. Since I've tried running it it idled like a dogs breakfast and stalls and in doing so the apexi avcr is saying injectors are at 90% duty cycle at idle. Car will running and revs out and when warm is ok but the idle starts to hunt from 1000 to 1500 also the idle at 800 is like its miss firing but its not. I have new temp sensor new coil packs new plugs new coil harness and the list goes on. The one plenum is a side intake and the aic valve sits underneath. Can anyone helps please. This making me pull my hair out.
